These laser tag guns work great! you don't need a vest. The gun indicates when you've been hit and when you're out of lives. and a reload button to start over. The kids(and adults;)) really enjoy these. There are several settings for different sound effects. I received the first set as a gift. I'm buying a second set now so the adults can play too and we don't have to take turns. Everyone wants to play! from the 4 year old to the teenagers to the aunts and uncles to Grandpa.. Great fun for the whole family!!

Not bad for the cheap price but the blue gun doesn't work when you get hit. The other 3 guns worked perfectly.

Ok but had issues

purchased this for my kids for Christmas. One of the guns came broken (with brand new batteries it would not turn on) and apparently there's no way to return or exchange. I purchased this particular laser tag set because of the reviews but I guess packages are hit and miss just wish I could exchange it for one that works.

Annoying!

I have young kids and was very excited to get the guns, but at the same time I was worry since I saw a review on another cite where people complain that only 2 out of the 4 gun would work. However, I still gave a shot and bought them. Well, I ended up buying a total of 8 guns, just in case some don't work. Quest what? 8 out of 8 guns did not work. Well, actually there was one gun that did turn on for about 20 seconds, but then die and did not wanted to turn back on. Also, after further inspection I saw that the guns were not new and had signs of dirt and scratches, which meant that I probably got guns that someone used and it stop working then they got send back and the company maybe try to fix them. I will be returning all 8 non-working guns. So disappointed, now am on the look for another brand.

So excited, but got disappointed.
