Love the design. The slots in the middle are fun for organizing and more. That's the reason I bought this vanity. Plenty of space on either side of the middle to have stuff on the top area. I also really like the stool. It's quite sturdy for the size and shape. My only complaint would be the two drawers they are not smooth in the least when opening and closing. My husband is a contractor so he knows how to put together furniture with ease. It's definitely not an assembly problem
But a manufactures issue! But in reality I will not be opening them much with all the great cubbies in the middle! I would recommend this item to others for sure.

This table has to be put together and it's quite heavy to maneuver but otherwise is a really pretty piece of furniture.  It has a removable cross section for makeup pieces (like a tic tac toe grid) which is nice for keeping small items and then 2 drawers for larger things.  The big detraction is the noise the mirror makes when you open and close it. It makes a ratcheting sound from the closers on each side of the mirror. It's quite loud and could easily wake someone sleeping in the room. 
The bench is comfy and pretty sturdy.

Makeup vanity

the desk is nice and easy to put together but it puts of a horrible odor and even after airing out my room and running an air purifier the smell is still there. it was making me wheeze and i haven't been able to sleep in my bedroom for three days.
