I bought the cotton rope double hammock because it was identical to the one my guy had in 1987 hung beneath a walnut tree which we enjoyed being in together very much. That hammock is long gone. Yesterday was his 2020 birthday and he was so happy to be swaying with me once again in his hammock gift. This time under cedars.

Very impressed with the whole ordering process; easy to place the order and it arrived promptly appreciate the free shipping. Oh and LOVE the humorous little emails that let you know the status of your order all along the way - I felt like my order was important. Have only tried the hammock a couple times so far but it seems well made. Would have been nice to have other color options as white will get dirty quickly here but overall very happy with it.

Quick delivery, great service

This is a total classic and I ordered it to replace the same hammock that had been stolen from my yard. I know from experience that the cotton rope hammock that had been hung in my yard through every season for 7 straight years showed no signs of degradation - the quality of these is excellent. I expect the same from my new one since it is identical in every way. Super fast delivery too

Perfection

In general we are pleased with the ease of ordering and the timely delivery.



The hammock is a replacement from one which lasted for years. This new one's ropes are not as tight. The rope triangles are not even ie. some are quite huge and others are smaller. Even with tugging and pulling at the larger ones it stays uneven making the hammock ride not as comfortable as the original one. Actually I think some of the triangles are not knotted as they should be.

Some glitches..

I bought a double hammock for my cottage. It replaced a 13 year old one I bought at Lee Valley. I will say that the Lee Valley hammock is of slightly higher quality but it is no where near the quality/price ratio of the one I purchased at Hammock Universe. You would have to be a true hammock connoisseur to notice the difference. Love my new cottage hammock from Hammock Universe.

Good Value Hammock

This is the third replacement for a similar product that my family has enjoyed for more than two decades. I don't consider that to be a bad replacement rate. This one is softer than the previous two which were not cotton and quite a bit wider. Others were doubles too. So far so good. I understand that cotton is less forgiving than the polyester versions so I promise to be kinder to it in terms of taking it indoors during bad weather.

Great product

We had purchased the double rope hammock to replace our old hammock. Unfortunately the squirrel in our back yard decided this was a fine thing to dine on. I emailed Hammock Universe to see if there was anything we could do to stop this critter from dining on our new hammock. They gave us several remedies that we could try. Little did we know that the old hammock was of man made fibre which the squirrel did not touch. MUCH TO OUR SURPRISE we received a new hammock from Hammock Universe one week later free of charge I was speechless
This company went way beyond what any customer would expect. They have earned my business hands down I referred all my family and friends on my initial purchase because of the service and now I tell anyone I meet about our experience with Hammock Universe as they deserve to have the business.

I was looking everywhere for a hammock that brought back memories of when I was a little kid at my grandparents cabin. They had a hammock just like this one and when I came across this website I knew I had to order it. It is the best purchase I have ever made and our family of 3 are on the hammock every night. It is great quality and even though we have only had it for a few weeks we are so in love and adds so much joy to our backyard oasis. The delivery was fast and everything came in perfect condition. Two of the S hooks were missing as one needs four 2 for pole  2 for hammock  I used the older ones I had
One of the lines were loose in the middle so I pulled and made a knot 
The Children had fun
