Very good quality

Part of a sampling program. the charcoal came as lump, as described. good sized pieces, none were too big or had to be split up. some smaller pieces, but no more than you'd usually get in a lump bag. this charcoal lit fast and stayed lit for as long as I needed, and still some left over that I can reuse. would buy again.

I'm really impressed with the taste that my meat and my vegetables have after barbecuing them with cowboy brand hardwood lump charcoal. I truly loved the fact that lump charcoal has no chemicals, it lights quicker, so I don't need to be standing in front of my grill for a long time because the meat cooks faster. I was also scared of the potential mass that the ashes will involve, but surprisingly the cleanup was easy.

Amazing taste, easy lighting, easy cleaning

PART OF SAMPLING PROGRAM is charcoal is fairly decent quality. It offers a decent Cook time and he stayed very consistent throughout.. I liked how it offers a little bit of a different flavour than your traditional charcoal and the price wasn't much more than the standard.

 Premium Hardwood Charcoal – Superb Flavour %26 Performance

Cowboy charcoal is exceptional!  It was our first time using it.  The quality is evident—large aromatic chunks that ignited easily with an electric starter and burned long, evenly, and cleanly. 

The hickory and oak notes were evident, and truly elevated the pork steaks and fresh coil sausage we cooked without the smoke being overpowering.  

It started quickly, departed great flavour and left very little ash. 

The price was reasonable compared to everything else on the shelf. Will definitely buy it again, highly recommend!

Superb Flavour %26 Performance

Since i cook on BBQ charcoal, i tried a lot of charcoal brand. I liked very much the cowboy charcoal. At first, it light up very fast and provide a lot of heat without bad smell. Heat is consistant, and cooked meat is very good! I will definitely buy again!

We love this charcoal as a budget friendly option. Gives a wonderful blend of Oak and Hickory smoked flavour to food while not being overpowering. For the price you can't beat it. Very affordable option. Gets hot when you need it hot but also allows for controlling it for when you need it low and slow. Recommend this brand for it's affordability.

Great Smoked Flavour

Part of Sampling Program I tried this Cowboy charcoal and it was easy to start fire. It had many large chunks of charcoal which was very helpful to hold heat for longtime. Charcoal was releasing nice aroma compared to others I used in the past. Overall it was nice experience BBQ with the Cowboy charcoal.

PART OF SAMPLING PROGRAM. the Cowboy Hardwood Lump charcoal was really enjoyable to use. I usually have trouble lighting up my bbq but this time it was noticeably easier to ignite evenly, which made the cooking easier, without sacrificing durability. the aroma of the oak and hickory was definitely a nice touch. overall great product, worth the extra dollars compared to the cheaper options. I recommand it.

Worth the extra cost

PART OF SAMPLING PROGRAM - Yhis brand of charcoal lights up fairly easily and once it burns it can get to a fairly high temperature.  There was some popping and it burned for an average amount of time.  However, I did not like was there were few large pieces in the bag and plenty of mid size pieces and a fairly good amount of small chips that are fairly useless.

Satisfactory product

𝐏𝐀𝐑𝐓 𝐎𝐅 𝐒𝐀𝐌𝐏𝐋𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐆𝐑𝐀𝐌, the Oak and Hickory hardwood lump charcoal cowboy brand 8.8lbs is convienent for smaller bbqs, or travelling as the peices come in quite small chunks making it easier to handle. The lumps of charcoal do burn quite HOT, meaning you need to be watching it closely the entire time. It catches fire alot more than regular charcoal and makes cooking more difficult. I find it burned really fast or not at all, overall if you are cooking anything you want to cook slower or have more flavor in, this isn't the charcoal for you!! If you want a quick dinner, this may work for you as it gets hot and burns really quickly. Leaving only ashes left when youre done as it burns the whole thing to nothing. 7/10 reccomended.
