Its a great gift especially now when children need activity.She loved it.

Creative Activity

The Cra- Z - Art Pottery Wheel was a hit with my granddaughter for her birthday.  She absolutely loves it.  This was the hit at her party.  The only problem was with her, she didn't want to share. I would recommend for all the little crafty kids in your life.  No complaints yet.

Crafts

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great starter for young and old. It is simple and comes with everything you would need to start of your love of pottery making. The only thing I didn't see included was batteries which is no big deal. This was for my 5 year old daughter who just loves anything to do with being creative. She was so thrilled to get this.  My 3 year old loves watching his sister use this. This is also great for the whole family to use. It really is fun to see what can be made.  Be forewarned that it can be messy which honestly is to be expected. I love that this came with clay. If your not sure if you willingly this hobby this is the perfect starter kit.  This is a little loud but it isn't obnoxious. 

Creative fun

My 12 year old daughter selected this item because she had worked with clay in art class at school.  It is as expected other than the noise it makes when it's running.the dog hates it and goes and hides when she turns it on.  She has crafted several small pots and is trying to create larger items.   She is enjoying it!

Pottery wheel

If I could give this a negative review, I would.  Spinning ceramic wheel in the middle did not work.  Wheel started and stopped, over and over.  The problem happened as soon as we took it out of the box.  What a waste.

Do not buy!

This. Is. Not. The. One. To. Use.

While it's easy to set up and understand, it is SO LOUD. Like, massive migraine loud....cam hear it from two rooms away loud. It also randomly "squeals" when the plate decides not to spin and you hear the gears messing up. You can't put any pressure on the clay to shape it or it stops spinning. The little bit of a bowl my daughter made, she had to do before she put it on the plate. 

My daughter gives it a 3 star because she likes the tool and the clay. But my review is based off of the pottery wheel itself. Quite frankly, its useless

So LOUD

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pros (high quality items included in the box): 4 C cell Batteries, 2 lbs of molding clay, paints and a brush, gems, glitter glue, sculpting tools and a sponge.

Cons: The motorized wheel turned when you stepped on the pedal, but when you attempted to 'shape' the clay by touching it gently as it turned, the pottery wheel would stop turning and make a loud grinding noise. To the point where it was not possible to use the pottery wheel to shape anything. 

After exhaustive tries to get the pottery wheel to work correctly, the kids and I gave up on the wheel. We had tons of fun hand molding and decorating mugs, pizzas and one robot (LOL).

Disappointing: pottery wheel did not work.
