I'm a big fan of the Crane Drop humidifiers and have had several over the years. Love that I can just pop off the top to quickly and easily refill the water. The nightlight is pretty cool and love that it turns completely off at night for darkness. The noise feature isn't very loud, so not obtrusive. Overall, love it, the improvements Crane has made are awesome.

Works great and is whisper quiet.  The output can be adjusted to low, medium, and, and high.  The low setting is enough for a medium sized room.  It also has a white noise machine built into it.

I liked the product so much that I bought a second one.

I haven't woken up with a stuffy nose since purchasing this humidifier! It is easy to use, easy to clean, and looks beautiful in my room! We love the changing light feature. I do wish the sound machine feature was more developed, with options to go a little louder and to have more distinct clear sounds. But I am so happy with my purchase it doesn't affect my rating.

This is by far the best humidifier I have ever purchased for an individual room. The fact that it has the sound machine and light all in one is fantastic, minimizing extra cords and devices. Plus, the well fits in my bathroom sink so I don't have to fill it in the bathtub. I plan to buy one for every bedroom in my house to replace my old humidifiers which I used to like but now consider substandard.

Even better than I hoped

My daughter complained of skin and nose irritation caused by dry air. So we picked up a humidifier at the local discount store. After a week, we discovered a couple of key things wrong with our choice - small water capacity, hard to fill, and little bit loud when running (at least, loud for her).

We looked at the mega online store and read several reviews. The Crane 1 Gal Top Fill looked like the perfect solution. We've had it for nearly a month and daughter loves it. When the weather is cold and heaters are running, adding humidity is essential. With the first humidifier we'd bought, she was having to fill twice per day. With the Crane, filling is now once every two days.

She's 24 yo and doesn't use the nightlight or the white sound, though we checked out both features and found both to be pleasant experiences, but she's extremely sensitive to light and sound. The Crane humidifier quietly sits in the corner on her bookcase (we found a black open-stock dinner plate at the discount store that makes an attractive tray to protect the wood surface), keeping her room at a perfect 50% humidity.

The Crane costs a little bit more than the first humidifier we bought, but not a budget-breaker and we anticipate it will provide comfort for at least 2-3 years. It was definitely worth the difference.

Decision made. This is the humidifier to buy.

Great machine!  Thank you for finally designing something that can be cleaned thoroughly!  Great output of mist and the color changing light is a great nightlight for my kids.  The volume for the sound machine feature is not nearly loud enough to be effective.  But fortunately that wasn't one of my main reasons for buying this humidifier in the first place.

Fantastic upgrade from original Drop Humidifier!

It works good as humidifier, lasts long time without refill and great to have a night light as well, it's pretty
But my reason to buy this specific model was mainly for sound machine option.
It's not as loud, and there is no way to change volume. Also all 3 sounds are one by one when you press the button, so if baby is sleeping, I'm on sound number one and I need to turn it off, I have to touch button 3 times and skip two other sounds (they start playing right the way and are as loud). So I wish it's quite after each sound option.
Overall I'm satisfied.

Sound machine

very nice looking machine looks very simple to put together the water level weight that you have to put in the bottom does it line up properly so the machine is not closed all the way red light keeps coming on and the music does not play how could something so simple be so frustrating.

Don't waste your money!!
