Can be easy to follow, but may lack detail for some users.

Can be smooth, but may lack stops or sag under weight.

The unit that I received was high quality pine that was perfectly milled .
The wood is thick with no warping or rough edges .
There are not many knots and no defects on mine .
It has an interesting and very attractive grain pattern .
I am very impressed with this unit .
I applied a couple of coats of tinted shellac on mine .
I consider it strange to paint solid wood furniture
or to clear coat it without staining it first .
A light golden brown stain on this unit would be perfect .

A high quality unit !

It is tedious to assemble but not really difficult. Took about 45 minutes per cart for me alone. I purchased two for use in my closet as an island and am pleased. I did not use the casters. The only thing I recommend is while you are assembling, go ahead and use wood glue to affix the drawer bottoms in place. Otherwise they slide out every time you pull the drawers out and are a pain. I have since glued mine in place and also used adhesive shelf liners inside. Although a low price point, it is a real wood piece of furniture that I expect to last me for years to come.

Sturdy knotty pine storage chest was easy to assemble for 2 people with power tools. Great for organizing small items eg. craft supplies. I would buy this product again.

Helpful organization

We have purchased the shorter 6 drawer unit which was easier to assemble. The larger one was not as well prepared and needed some tweaking to ensure it was square. Otherwise it is a great piece now that it is assembled.

Good quality but harder to assemble than small one

This is "WOOD" pine, yet it is pretty hard for pine I think.  But manufacturer does not provide drilled piolet holes for all the places needed.  Only some.  This almost suridly  caused a lot of breakthrough and wood splitting.  WHAT A MESS.  Tok a lot longer than expected and I would not advise this for a novice.  Not suppose to use "POWER TOOLS" that is a joke.  Of course we did we had to try to do out own piolet holes.  And don't even get me started on these totally inadequate instructions and silly pictorials.  BUYER BEWARE!  Have someone helping that has at least some building/carpenter experience.  NEVER AGAIN, but this cart is pretty sturdy if you can get it together.

I am a long-time assembler type person. I enjoy it. 

With that said, I do use the directions. There were NO directions included. I contacted the company, and they emailed them to me to print. 

A friend and I spent an inordinate amount of time (4 hrs) merely putting the frame together. 

The drawers are still not assembled. They need to have pilot holes drilled to facilitate assembling. 

I bought 2 of them.  I returned the second one. 

PS If you feel this is an individual issue and will purchase it, please look on YouTube and see the how-to video by a gentleman who works on wood.

This was the biggest piece of garbage I have bought in a long time. If I knew how terrible it was, I never would have suffered putting it together. Awful quality. Awful everything. What a waste of money. Do not settle for such poor quality. Choose something else. Wish I could get reimbursed.
