I used this to make a terra cotta gingerbread house. This clay is everything I hoped for. Yes, it developed some cracks as the pieces dried but I filled those in by making a slurry. The cracking wasn't bad though. Once dried %26 assembles by Gingerbread house is loved by all.  2.5 lbs of clay is a lot of clay so I'm making gingerbread people ornaments now.

Before  I've bought it I thought that it would be  very small so I bought 2.I'm truly surprised about the quality and the size proportions,I would definitely recommend.

good size and worthy

I bought this to make a few gift. It dries quick and is decently solid. It does get brittle but so does any clay that isn't fired. Holds paint better than expected. I bought two...one for me and one to give to my sister. 2.5# each is quite a bit. I haven't put a dent in it and I have finished all of my projects. Would recommend to anyone who asks!-zac

Very good clay!

Its a nice clay drys a little slow but it works. The clay also gets a little messy but other than that everything works perfectly.

I've used this clay for some school projects and it got the job done. Very orange hands as many mention having, but clay is meant to be messy, and I use the container as my workspace. Biggest downside is that even after waiting for long periods for the clay to dry, acrylic paint doesn't stay on and peels. The only way I've found it stays is if you sand your work which can be tedious. I probably wouldn't get this again for myself but it's not the end of the world.

I loved the color of this but it was a little hard to work with.. if you are good with clay this wouldn't be a problem but could be frustrating to someone just starting.

Pretty color.

It is definately clay. Not playdoh. Texture is a clay texture... the kind you would find where dirt is clay-like. Less malleable than playdoh.
  The color is a rusty-brown that gets all over skin, table, chair, clothes.... anything it touches.
   Surface cracks as it drys.. Good as an ashtray to live in the cupboard and maybe never use.

Something Different in Clay?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] They had a great idea when they came up with this, but the execution is a big fail. This is marketed for kids but it is super messy. It leaves the orange clay color on everything it touches and stains clothes. Once the clay dries it falls apart. My kids were happy with their creations and excited to paint them once the dried. But once dry the fell apart and everything was trash. I wouldn't buy again anyway because of the horrible orange mess, but falling apart makes it completely worthless.
