If you and/or family are going to work with clay crafting we highly recommend this product..especially the value of the 25lb pack. You can't beat the price and quality. I have a degree in art and am used to the old school clay that you have to put in a kiln. This is so much better and easier to work with…and you get the same results! Thank goodness for Crayola and modern clay.

Bought this for my daughter, who has had a approximately six weeks of classes in Middle School. She states, "Clay is easy to work with, it would be great for beginners."  She really enjoys sculpting with it. Will definitely be ordering again! Price was pretty good compared to others. Dragon isn't finished yet.

I was in need of clay or a clay type substitute for a mock part and purchased this as I had no intention of firing or keeping afterwards. 45" x 5" x 2" curve tapered wing for a vertical wind turbine took only 3/8 of the package or one and a half block out of the four. Air drying took days because of bad weather and the large amounts of clay involved. The finished mold made of fiberglass from the mock wing came out perfect. In all aspects it works just as potters clay does.

For my purposes, the best solution.

This is great easy to use air-dry clay. I use it for craft projects and sculpting.
Price is great .

We used this for a church activity where they made Christmas ornaments by using cookie cutters and sticking beads into it. It was a hit! This is a ton though. I think about 40 kids made about 2 ornaments each and we used less than one of the 4 lumps of clay.

I bought air dry clay so I could use it with my art class, because there is no baking necessary. I loved working with it, because it was very workable and easy to create all kinds of projects. But- when I used it for larger projects, the armatures were necessary for the weight of the clay, but difficult to form and secure. The clay shrunk and  cracked at stress points while drying.  Smaller projects that don't need an armature would probably work better with air dry clay products. It was fun to work with, but disappointing when it cracked.

The clay cracks constantly. Finished products fall apart and crumble. My kids are very disappointed and so am I.
