Colors

So needed these colors to use in my journal that has black  paper.  They looked great the dark construction paper.  Loved the selection of colors and recommend them.

The colors show up amazingly well on black paper.  I did a swatch test of matching shades and the first person I showed the test to did not even realize the swatches of the regular crayons were there!

Surprising pigment levels

These are my favorite crayons and I use them in my work.  Crayola makes the absolute best coloring products and the Construction Paper ones are just outstanding.  They color on just about any surface and are a great bargain.  I'm also going to try the glitter crayons to put under oil pastels for sgrafitto.  Should be beautiful!

Best Crayolas Ever!

I never knew construction paper crayons existed. Being that I love crayons, I couldn't resist trying them. I was curious how they could truly be much different, but there is a notable difference between regular crayons and ones formulated for construction paper. The resulting colors are so vibrant and really stand out on all colors of construction paper - even green on green, blue on blue, etc.
Highly recommend! (Now if they only came in a huge 100+ different colors like the regular crayons, I would be in heaven! :-D haha)

Amazing, vibrant color!

Wish they had a bigger box of colors and they sold them in stores!  I love these crayons!  Bought them for my grandchildren stockings with black paper coloring books.  I had to try them myself first so I purchased an extra book and crayons.  It's awesome!

Construction Paper Crayons are softer than the regular crayons,  
& they rub onto the paper easier. I used them with 2-year-olds, & they worked great. Their small hands aren't  strong enough to press down very hard, so they make very light marks with regular crayons- but their drawings showed up brighter with these.

Using these crayons is a little like drawing with pastels- their texture is between  pastels & (regular) crayons.  They're perfect for construction paper,  but also for plain copy paper or drawing paper.  

The kids drew for about 10 minutes with these crayons  (instead of 2 to 3 minutes, with their regular crayons), so I think these crayons are a great addition to their art box!
