I really enjoyed playing with this putty! Personally I don't think it feels spiky  at all and if it does then it's quite unnoticeable. I love how the glitters change from pink to blue and shine in the sunlight. Only complaint is the glow, i have lots of other glow putties from this brand that glow super bright, but this is not one of them. The sea green glow is cool but if your planning on getting this one just because it glows I would recommend aurora sky or ion instead. Overall I think it is much prettier in the sunlight and I would definitely buy again!

I'm always wary of the big tins bc they always feel like a bit too much for comfort to me, but I could NOT resist this gorgeous putty! So fun to play with, and such beautiful colors. I know some people had concerns about the glitter, but as with my Rose Gold Mini tin, I have had zero issues here. There is a piece of big glitter stuck on the tin, but 1 piece is hardly enough to indicate shedding, and I can confirm after playing with it for a few days that it does not shed glitter. 
I just can't say enough good things about this one- the pictures don't even do it justice.

very good putty
i've heard some people worried about the glitter pieces hurting your hands. they can be a little pokey and its certainly not for everyone but it doesnt hurt at all! i really like the texture,  it kinda feels tingly like pins-and-needles.
it also has more resistance than the scented putties which is perfect for me and my tendency to death-grip stress balls

Stress reliever

It has a pretty ombre just like a mermaid. My tin came with a dent in it but I think someone just dropped it in the store. It glowed the first time but hasn't since. the glitter stays in and the sequins do not hurt your hands unlike the rainbow putty. It dosn't get dirty easily. Otherwise great putty.

It didn't glow in the dark which was one of the reasons why I chose this particular one, which was for a gift for a little girl.  Other than that, the product was fine.

While the glitter is very pretty, they can be felt while playing with the putty.  I tend to pull then squish when I play with my putty, that seems to be the worst as the glitter sticks out of the putty when you pull the putty thinner.

If you're the kind of person that only squishes, you'll be much less likely to feel the glitter digging into your palm.

Maybe it would have been less uncomfortable if they used a harder putty with it?  I don't know, but it's unfortunate that it's not comfortable to play with because it is very pretty.

yall i bought this and it looks nothing like the cover. it's false advertisement it looks like murky water not a dang mermaid tale.

Save yourself the stress and skip Aaron's Thinking Putty. This is a disappointment every single time my child wants to play with it because I for the life of me cannot get the container open. The putty settles in the crack (seemingly no matter which way it is stored) and a seal is created that's nearly impossible to break open. And unfortunately when I finally got the container opened this last time my child and I were disappointed to find rancid putty that smelled gross and had changed to an odd green color. This is our second container of thinking putty that has taken on a rancid odor with very little play due to the difficulty of opening the containers.
