The printer is fast and prints well, but really shines when you unlock the root account and start using Klipper outside of the Creality world.

-1 star because of the Creality slicer that comes with it. It's incredibly slow to slice and use. I installed Orcaslicer as soon as I got the printer, and it has good support for the K1 Max.

If you want to use the Lidar, you need to print sliced gcode from the control panel rather than through the web interface.

My printer purchased on Walmart.ca had the newer Unicorn hot-end and the smaller pulley wheels for better quality prints.

Great printer, but needs 3rd party help to shine.

Seems there's always something messing up nowadays, as it arrived with a destroyed glass front door for some reason, even with the foam all over the box. Had to get a replacement and in the meantime the machine is noisier than it should. Otherwise an awesome printer!

Superb printer with bad packaging from Creality

I've had plenty problems with this printer from layer shifting to the printer shutting off because of the voltage, it doesn't have a voltage switch which depending on the voltage your house has might make it shut off pretty often.
