Great sound for the price. I have them on my desk . Someone helped themselves to my BOSE speakers. I know no one will take thee . But, they do put out a decent sound .

Truly invested in these speakers as my cousin from a good 3 years now still has these without issues, plus having it connected with a aux than a plug is SUCH A LIFESAVER, music and bass is pretty good but bass isnt as loud as you think it can be. But these speakers sure pack a punch, best to do it when it goes on discount though.

Best for your buck

I got these after returning a soundbar that did not work for my PC setup. Key feature is that these have the drivers required to play audio from the aux port, similar to headphones. I'm not sure if the V3 sound any better, but these sound VERY GOOD for only being $25. I'm a musician and am picky about my speakers, and I can tell you these have GREAT sound. I would recommend the set that comes with a subwoofer if you want more bass, but I use these to play music while I work so I don't really need that. They work well for conference calls too.

Best quality for the money!

Its been awhile since I used desktop speakers, but I didnt expect such decent sound from $23 speakers (just using them to play music a low volumes; digital, cds, vinyl, etc).
I have a set behind me... then it dawned on me that for $23, I should buy a 2nd set to have in-front so I can fake some 360-degrees of sound. lol.  Love it!  Glad I chose this set.

Much better than expected

I looked around online for the best budget speakers on the market and the Pebble came up a lot, so I decided to go for it. Their reputation is good for a reason. They surprised me with how solid and sturdy they feel; I had been expecting flimsy plastic at this price point. The bass on them surprised me even more. I agree with the reviews. For this price point, they're awesome little speakers.

Best budget speakers

Having an somewhat deaf octagenarian review a speaker is probably not the best recommendation. I needed a speaker for a new desk top computer and knowing that my hearing was compromised meant I wasn't for looking for a hi-fi system. Thiese speakers are not too large, taking up a limited amount of space on my desk and sound perfectly fine to me.  The price was low enough so I wasn't worried about miss on quality if they didn't live up to expectations.  They were as good or better than I expected. Easy to set up and volume controls large and easy to find. All in all very satisfied with purchase and prompt shipping.

A good value speaker system for desktop computers.

These are nice speakers.  They come with minimal installation instructions, just a diagram.  I could not get them to work.  It would have been helpful to have some troubleshooting instructions.  Instead I had to hire a computer tech who figured out that my sound software needed to be updated.  Because the so-called instructions did not address any potential problems, I had to pay more than the speakers cost to figure out and correct the problem.

Costly Installation

The cable length was the deal breaker for me. The item description didn't have any information on how far apart the speakers could be from each other, so I rolled the dice and they came up short. At max length, the wire connecting the two speakers is 42", but they connect to the center of the back of the speaker. If you want both speakers pointed in the same direction, there is about 38" between the two speakers, shell to shell. They sound fine, but like other reviewers, there is a lack of bass, which gets more apparent the louder you turn it up.

Decent sound, inadequate cable length.

I have a Dell two speaker subwoofer system that was a bit old. I decided to try the Creative Pebble speakers as a replacement. The speakers are pretty accurate on mid-range and treble. However, they are lacking bass. My solution to this issue was to use a splitter and combine my old Dell system and new Pebble system. This worked. The subwoofer provided needed bass and the four speakers on my desk worked very well together. I also downloaded an equalizer to fine tune the system. This worked well as I was actually a bit bass heavy when I combined the two systems. 

If you don't want to split your system speakers, or don't have additional speakers, I would recommend a system with a subwoofer. Creative does make a Pebble system with a sub-woofer, and this is likely the way to go for a stand-alone Pebble system. If you just want basic speakers for your laptop, these will work fine. However, if you are looking for a more immersive sound experience, I would upgrade to a sub-woofer system or do what I did and combine two systems.

All About the Bass

These speakers have a pretty decent speech sound, these would be good for basic use only like watching webinars or YouTubers. But when it comes bass depth it ruins the music and intricate depth of the song that's playing. It seems like it mutes all base background and ruins the music and gaming experience. I think I should have gone with V2.1 with subwoofer that is what is missing for my music experience.

Good for speech and lite music
