I use this product on both of my daughters hair. They both have very curly and thick hair. The consistency is thick so it keeps their hair slicked back nicely. It also doesn't flake or leave residue like other products we've used.

Crème of Nature is the OG here. Its consistency is gooey but it works well and doesn't leave my hair greasy.  It has a strong curl cast so if you're ok with that, you'll like it

Definitely holds! This stuff will hold every strand together! I wouldn't use it for a twist out or braid out. But a sleek back? Yes indeed! It didn't flake until like 4-5 days. Some holding styler flakes that same day so it wasn't too bad.

At first, months ago this product worked on with. Only problem was it made my hair flake. However, I bought the same hair snot back in December. Apparently the formula was changed so it was no longer harder; it now comes out of the tube creamy and smooth. This product no longer works on my hair. The tiniest bit of humidity or heat makes my hair curl, even after I wrap my hair. My first tube that I had bought in September could withstand everything and anything. This new formula is ineffective and is as useless as hair gel for my hair. I'm never buying this product again and now I have to find a new hair snot or edge control.
