I like the hold and control but it has a certain amount of stickiness so if you don't like that, this is not a product you'll appreciate. I only use it on my edges. It doesn't damage my fragile edges like edge control products.

I wanted to see how it would work so I washed, detangled and only used this product as my styler(no gel). At first it was really thick and made my hair look it had no definition, I was afraid it was going to weight my hair down. As it dried it was starting to feel really hard and like it was going to be crunchy. I let it air dry over night and the next day when my hair was completely dry my curls were so defined and soft. I have even tried this with a diffuser and I get the same result. This is perfect for one product wash and goes and my hair held up for an entire week, I probably could have gone longer.

It is not a very thick consistency so I feel like it can be used one more than one curl pattern. The smell first off is so clean . I knew once I saw Shea butter and honey in the ingredients list my hair would get the moisture it needed. This is great for dry and dehydrated hair. It made my curls pop and feel soft , there was no frizziness which is my main problem with curl activators. I would def buy this .
