I am an architectural surveyor and often I need to read dimensions on 14' to 20' ceilings. The standout is amazing and even at 20' i can read this measure clear as day.  Most tapes last about 3 months in our industry but this one lasted me almost a full year before tearing near the 1 inch mark. To say the least, it was a last minute purchase when i bought it and now i'm looking real hard to find a replacement of the exact same model number.

Great standout, and readable from afar!

Crescent

I purchased this tape after hearing good things about it on social media. I was very excited to get it on the jobsite but after 1 day of light use, the blade became permanently bent and now it wont retract into the housing. I had much higher expectations for this product and I was let down. The only reason I gave it 2 stars was because of its compact size. Disappointing.

Underwhelming

Like others I heard great things about it on social, bought it loved it but not even two months framing houses same thing the end broke off, I noticed the way the rivets are on the end it hooks on and maybe bent it. I don't know but I would buy again if this issue was solved. I did use it a couple days with the broken tape at 2” (No photos once it broke I threw it on the ground so other trades will see it and not buy)

Disappointed

I purchased this tape measure four and a half months ago (10/31/20) and the end broke off  the last time I used it with only 8' out when I retracted it. I only use this tape for home projects. I took it back to where I purchased it and they told me I had to contact the manufacturer for the warranty. I tried to fill out the Warranty/Replacement Form but it will not take the model number. Now I will to call them and hopefully get someone to help me.

End Broke Off

Blade would not retract after light use, less than one year, never even remotely extended to full length. Five criteria below but what good is a tape measure that retracts so it's obviously 1 only for quality, value, ease of use, effectiveness and durability.
