I'm new to foil but have had good results with the foiling tool for my ExploreAir 2. These colors are rich and beautiful.

Foil sheet is very pretty. Haven't used it yet, but I've used other before.

I used the foil transfer sheet to write Happy Birthday on a card I made for my niece. It is so easy to use. I like the fact that you don.t need a glue pencil to write on the card first so the foil will stick to the glue. You just tape it to the paper you are using and the machine does the rest. GREAT PRODUCT!!!

Cricut Foil Transfer Sheets Sampler | Ruby | 24 Co

I was so excited to have a chance to work with the foil. It's taken me 6 months to figure out that the foil settings aren't available for my iPad. I don't have any other computers to make it work..So now I sit here with my foil blade and foil just waiting for the Cricut development team to add support for the foil tool to the iPad version.

No foil for iPad users

The color is fabulous. The application not so much. Seems as though the Maker users have better luck than the Explore users. It's iffy at best. For me it needs work. The tape is not as strong as it should be.

Foil Transfers

I was super excited to try the foil to add a very sleek and professional look to my projects. My first go wasn't very successful. The foil transferred in some parts but not in most places. I even tried running the process again without ejecting the mat and although that did help, it still wasn't what I was hoping for. I still haven't figured out the best settings. Sigh...
