Although I have only used it once to make a birthday card. It worked well and as I suspected it should. However I do wish there was one just a bit thicker

Cricut

This was a new technique for me and I love it! I plan on making Christmas items with it.  Very easy to use and the steps in design space were very easy to follow. I highly recommend for a professional result.

New to foil transfer

I got this kit during the big sale as I figured I had nothing to lose and I'm so happy I did! I love how easy it is to swap the tips into the housing and create beautiful pieces.  I do wish there was an easier way to attach foil sheets to your work but that's a minimal complaint for me compared to the outcome I get!

Easy, Peasy Foiling!

Can't complain, does what it says on the tin, a good purchase. The only problem I have with it is not even the tool itself, but the "foil" feature in Design Space that instead of just tracing the lineart, doubles it. I had to use a cheat found on youtube to get some sort of solid line. It'd be better if the "Foil" feature wouldn't double the line and the line thickness would only be dictated by the size of the nib, as this tool comes with 3 sizes of nibs.

Does exactly as expected. Has a learning curve, but that's to be expected from fine craftwork

Great!

I love the foil transfer tool BUT I do not like that I have to use a desktop to use it. I use my iPad all the time for design space but it is really inconvenient to have to switch to the computer for foiling. I wish there could be an upgrade to make this unnecessary.

IOS does not support the foil transfer operation

I bought this to do addresses on save the dates for a wedding. I cannot use my IPad with it as I do with the other cricut products I have, you have to use a laptop or desktop computer. It takes so long to properly line up the addresses in the software with the mats and you have to choose your material every single time you use the foil transfer tool, even if you just used it. There was a lot of trial and error in using this pen, its not very user friendly.

Extremely Time Consuming

This kit did not work for me. I did everything correctly (taping the foil to my cardstock and installing the tip) but the tip didn't seem to have enough pressure to transfer the foil to my cardstock. I don't have any other trouble cutting with my Cricut Maker 3 or the pressure, so this kit was not worth the money.

Didn't work for me

Does not give a good effect even after processing it twice once on normal pressure and then again with more because the line came out too small. Used Bold setting with the 3 line tip and got the same results as medium. The material being used was from the insert card kit that came with the foil so I know it was not the material being used. Waste of money.

Barely works

I tried several times to do. some basic foiling with the silver and the gold and a minimal amount of foil ended up on the yardstick.  Maybe it's the kit or maybe there is a large learning curve.  I will try again but I feel that it should be a little easier to pick up this technique.
