Made with reliable and long-lasting components.

Cricut

Awesome. This is my second set of these mats and I had the others for 5 years before replacing. Very durable. Take good care of them and they will be long lasting.

Mats

good mats i've used them for a few different projects now and they have been good but the standard is stickier than you would think, if using certain thinner materials i would use the light grip even if standard is recommended

great to use for a variety of projects

The cutting mat supplied with the Cricut Explorer is too tacky. I looked all over for the lighter one to no avail until I looked at Walmart's website. The set of three seemed a good choice, and I was right. The lighter tack works great for both paper and cardstock. I can cut more intricate designs and remove them from the mat easily. My only wish is that I could find the light mat separately in packs.

Couldn't find it anywhere else.

walmart.com

You can't use the Cricut expression without the mat. It last a pretty long time. The only thing is when it's newly used, it is really sticky and hard to get your project off without damaging it, so you really have to be careful and USE THE SPATULA! It's a vital tool.

Can't do without this item

i have been using the cricut for a while and have only ever used the same 3 mats. they lose their initial stickiness or your paper starts shifting during cutting. go to the fabric section at walmart and buy a little can of temporary spray adhesive, the kind used for fabric and quilting and applicay. spray a very small amount on the mat and it will hold your paper for a few more cuts then spray again. i use my mats over and over and over using this method and it works like a charm every time.

responding to the mats not lasting very long

Brother mats are triple the price of cricut mats so I tried to cheat, but learned the hard way that brother machines will not recognize a cricut mat. I had to return them. The return was easy. Idk how well they work with cricut bc I don't have a cricut machine, but they seemed like really nice, really good quality mats.

Does NOT Work with a Brother Scan and Cut

Mats are must needed to ensure proper cuts. I didn't give it a 5star rating because it did not come with instructions on how to remove the paper or materials after the cut is made to prevent warping. Secondly, there were no instructions on how to keep it clean.

Cannot work without it

Mats are a must for paper art work. Your choice of paper makes a difference in how it comes off the mat.

What to expect from cutting pads. Not knowing what to expect was my downfall. They are sticky. I had read somewhere about the overall stickiness of these pads but I guess I just didin't realize how sticky. So my advice is buyer beware. Don't use any paper on them until they loose some of the basic stickiness from them. Use only cardstock for a while. Otherwise I believe they perform great.

Cricut Cutting Pads

Can't really give much of a review, because they sent the wrong one! But, you definitely want the green mat with the flowers on it. the older plain one doesn't stick as well.

cricut mat
