I vacillated back and forth between the Cricut Explore Air and the Maker and finally settled on the Maker. It can handle so many more materials! I haven't used it too much as I've only had it about two weeks but I love it already.

Downside is the software costs $10/month and once you pay it they ask for more money for images. I bought more blades too. Still need to buy more materials.

I upgraded to this machine and it works great.  The colour is such a pretty blue.

This is the cadillac of home crafting machines! I got mine for Christmas and have used it every day since. I think there is a bit of a learning curve but there are tons of youtube videos to help with just about every thing the machine does. The capability of the machine has challenged me to explore many things other than just cutting vinyl or scrapbook paper.

So far this machine has yet to disappoint as far as functionality. I wish i had waited a couple weeks to order it because now its less thab what i paid.

only had it briefly... but initial setup very easy... ran through couple of projects and liked the operation much better than my old
Silhouette Cameo. so far...so good
