[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, I like Cricut iron on vinyl.  It weeds very well and cuts smoothly. This color however was more of a brass than a gold color. I had no trouble with pressing it on and the project looked great except the color was not what I expected.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I thought the "value" part of the value iron on was just cheaper vinyl because it comes in bulk in cheaper looking packaging. I didn't expect the product to be any different than the everyday iron on I use frequently. It cut perfectly. weeding was easy. but the color was not what I expected. it was supposed to be navy and it leaned way too royal blue for a navy. it was acceptable for my project but not ideal. I've used other cricut "navy" products and they were much darker so that's what I expected. I also noticed it didn't perform how I expected when I accidentally started to peel it while hot. it absolutely has to be a cold peel. I've never had trouble with that before but it ruined the product I was working on. yes, my bad for not reading the directions but I'm not sure it even came with directions, I didn't notice then on the box afterward. 

it's very disappointing that the colors aren't uniform across the brand. one would expect smart iron on colors to be the same as value and everyday iron ones in color even if quality isn't the same. I'm definitely leaning more towards hobby lobby vinyl since I've never had problems with their colors.

I have only used the value iron on vinyl on 1 project, and I did manage (quite easily), to put my finger nail through the vinyl, clumsy, but also rather annoying. Be aware that if you use it for bigger projects it is more delicate/thinner than the usual black vinyl and needs a bit more care. However, it adhered well and is otherwise easy to weed and cut using my silhouette software.
