Chronos on Switch 2 is exactly the kind of game the new hardware was built for: fast, stylish, and surprisingly deep without ever feeling overwhelming. It blends action, exploration, and light RPG elements into a tight package that feels right at home on Nintendo’s next‑gen handheld.

Fast stylish and surprisingly deep

The game throws you into a bleak future and an alternate-1980s Poland, where humanity has been ravaged by a catastrophic event called “The Change.” You play as The Traveler, tasked with finding “Essences” of the fallen by jumping through time rifts, uncovering lore through environmental storytelling, audio logs, and haunting settings.

This game is scarier and better then I was expecting. I bought it on sale for $30 and think its a great value for that.

Decent game but definitely not the best story feels very predictable

I got it for my friend for his Christmas present and he loves it

As far as a Switch 2 port goes, Cronos has delivered a pretty good experience so far.

I know some people have complained about the upscaling the game uses, but saying it's the worst I think is a tad far. The game imo looks pretty good imo.

I do wish there was a performance option was here as 30fps in kind of undesirable, but no necessarily unplayable even in a game like this where it is kinda slow. For the most part the framerate has been smooth except the cutscenes and some parts like the time oddities where it might take a hit.

Overall a good Switch 2 port.
