[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This radio/CD player is simple and easy to operate.   Sound quality is good on both the FM stations and when playing my CDs.  I use the remote to operate the unit since buttons on the set itself are hard to read.  Set up is not complicated.   I tried less expensive units and had to return them either because CDs could not be accessed or it was just too complicated to try and get a CD to play.   One unit I tried wouldn't allow me to increase the volume....it went from almost nothing to almost nothing !!  This unit cost more than I was hoping to spend but at least it works !!!  You get what you pay for.

Good quality and easy to operate

Crystal clear sound and bass is deep!  EQ settings allow for different voicings and bass enhance can be turned off for less boominess.  FM radio also can in very clear, once the provided antenna was plugged in, I was worried about that from other reviews.  Love this little thing!!!

Great stereo

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After 30 years our Bose just died and repairs were out of the question.  Searching for a replacement after 30 years was a challenge with the change in technology.  The radio has good sound, not a Bose, but it is close.  It's easy to set up and use.  The plus was a CD player - yes, I still play CDs.  The only drawback, because I have sensitive ears, is the volume.  The volume is preset and with No. 1, lowest, I would still like to adjust it a little lower.  I highly recommend this radio.

Fantastic CD player with clear sound, very good bass and you can change the equalizer to different genres of music like pop, classic, jazz, rock. I was looking for a CD player because I am starting a CD collection. This is definitely what I was looking for. I was lookng for deep bass, clear sound, and great design and this machine checks off all of my preferences. I would STRONGLY recommend this product whether you want to listen to your favorite CD's, or your favorite radio stations. IT HAS IT ALL.

ONE OF THE BEST CD PLAYERS EVER!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were looking for something to replace our Bose Wave radio /CD player that broke. Since they can't fix it because they have discontinued them, we wanted to find something comparable. This is not quite the same, but it does the job. I do wish you could play more than one CD at a time. The presets are somewhat difficult to figure out, but we are working on it. It doesn't take up a lot of room either, so that is a plus. All in all, for the money it is pretty good product and we are happy with it.

Pretty nice

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Compact unit, handsome design, decent built-in speakers, and with some useful additional options - bluetooth, aux jacks, etc. FM antenna works fairly well with close-in stations,  not so well with more distant stations. No AM reception. The controls are not intuitive, and the instruction manual is skimpy, so you will have to play with the main controls and remote to figure out basic sequences. With a bit of concentration this can be done, however. Overall a nice addition to our audio equipment.

Good unit for CD music and FM radio reception.

I love the retro look of this unit. I purchased this for my living room. I needed a small unit to fit on a console table. It is a perfect size. This has great sound when playing CDs. Very clear and quite impressive. I am a little disappointed with the Bluetooth option as it will only play to a certain sound level.. about a third of the volume of a CD. I haven't tried listening to the radio. I likely will only use the radio occasionally. (I was shocked how this was shipped. Just in the box for display on a store shelf with a huge picture of what was in the box. Not in another shipping box with any protection, tape, etc.) Luckily it seems fine.

Impressive Sound

Radio is hard to tune in radio stations. 104.1 KRBE I can only get on 104.5 and it not the best sound. Radio has an antena in the back but dosent help much.

Radio not the best sounding

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very attractive cabinet and face but for the money, you only get a Few FM stations, you need a wire antenna which is included but why? cheaper ones don't need anything but a plug-in.  The speakers are staticky and it's too complicated to program.  I took it back.

Not worth it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I could not get in any radio stations except 2-3. My old cheap radio gets in many more than that. I didn't even bother trying the CD Player, since the radio does not have good reception.
