Crosley Furniture Alexandria 48" Corner TV Stand in Vintage Mahogany is rated 3.5 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great looking piece of furniture! This came packaged very well. It took about an hour to assemble. This piece of furniture is built well and looks like it cost much more than it did. Our 47" television fits nicely on it.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Nice appearance, but not as advertsied Our tv stand arrived several days earlier than expected with the free value shipping. It was well packaged; small tear in outer box did not reach through to the inner box (two layers of cardboard box over Styrofoam packing to protect pieces). Feet arrived same day in separate box (stand sold under different Crosley style names with different feet). Took less than an hour to assemble, assembly instructions easy to understand, all fasteners provided and holes lined up correctly. Assembly done with included wood dowels, cam lock screws, wood screws, bolts, washers, and alan wrench; must provide your own phillips head screwdriver. Could be assembled by one person, but a second person is helpful at the stage were you need to turn it upright (most of the assembly is with the unit upside down). Looks very nice once assembled, and fits neatly into corner without looking cheap. However, this unit is NOT all solid hardwood; the doors, and maybe the top and bottom pieces appear to be a solid wood but the remaining pieces are a very cheap engineered/pressed wood material that flakes off relatively easily when the exposed edges rub against rug/carpet during assembly (some engineered wood products seem quite durable; this does not appear to be that type). The veneer is very thin (thinner than rolls of veneer I've seen at home improvement store), but it does appear to be wood veneer. Once assembled, it does not seem solid; it wobbles a little if you press on the top and shift from side to side. Tried to tighten the cam lock screws a little more, but sounded like the engineered wood was cracking so decided to leave it as is. However, it does seem sturdy enough for our tv (about width of stand) with all associated components; but I definitely wouldn't risk standing on it for any reason. And I wouldn't risk moving it by lifting from the top. Bottom line is that it does look nice once assembled, no one would know that it's ready to assemble (RTA) furniture without looking closely, or maybe leaning heavily against it. If you normally buy cheap to moderately priced RTA furniture, this is probably comparable. If you normally only buy pre-assembled real wood furniture, this would be a big disappointment. We will keep this stand since we took the time to assemble it, it was less than half the price of the pre-assembled real wood stand of similar size, we needed a stand now, and it does look nice. But we would not have purchased it at this price had we known it had so much cheap engineered wood, and I would have returned it after opening if we had more time before the holidays and our budget allowed for higher expenditure. Some of the reviews say it is all solid wood (so wee took the chance), but noticed this morning that those reviews were from 2012, so maybe they have more recently switched to some engineered wood pieces. I would only recommend to someone that is okay with engineered wood and did not expect something that would last for many years. The material description should be updated to include engineered/pressed wood; the material description that we based our purchase on (solid hardwood and veneers) is misleading as it does not anywhere indicate engineered/pressed wood in the product description.
