We love our new curved shower curtain rod. After seeing these in hotels I really wanted to get one when I renovated the bathroom. Our old tub required a curtain on both sides so it felt claustrophobic and you were always bumping against the cold curtain. With the new tub and rod it feels so roomy. It was very easy to install and the nice thing was it fit well even with the 6 foot long tub. I don't really dance in the tub, nor do I recommend it, but you have enough room that you could if you are so inclined.

We needed to replace the curved shower curtain rod that we had been using for the past several years, as it was beginning to rust and look ugly. I can't even imagine NOT having a curved shower curtain rod - the extra space is great and we are totally used to it. This product was the perfect replacement. Easy enough to install and is holding up to the test of a busy household thus far. That is our only shower for our family of 4, so it is put to the test every day!

Just What We Needed

I did not rate for durability because I just installed it. Product installed very easily all by myself.

Shower Curtain

After putting up with cheap straight adjustable shower curtain rods decided on this curved one. Like the design and extra room it offers. Had no trouble with installation because I was fortunate to have laid in double studs around the enclosure.
Looks good and feels sturdy and expect it to last.

Quite pleased

This item was very well packaged and included all the hardware necessary. It is very attractive and fits in well with other moen fixtures. It gives us more room while in the shower and it is an innovative idea. It seems durable and well made.

Nifty little shower curtain rod

This is a great shower rod and really "opens up" the space while taking a shower. Looks great and seems pretty sturdy. As another reviewer said, the anchors are pretty weak and cheap so I would suggest getting some better anchors. Other than that, it's a great!

Great shower rod... but weak hardware

The box promotes being able to utilize up to an 180 degree angle when installing but doesn't mention the decorative end caps can not be used when doing this, leaving a ugly installation plate in sight instead. Also monting anchors were junk. First bad experience I've had with a Moen product.

I followed the instructions and pre-drilled my holes, since the directions provided no drill bit size I picked one that seemed close and drilled my holes. I then attempted to insert my first metal anchor, it was snug but not able to fit all the way in - the way the anchors bow out slightly in the middle seemed to be the issue. I'm used to drywall anchors being snug and requiring a push to get in the wall from previous experience so I attempted to push this one in - the entire anchor buckled slightly. So I stopped, extracted the anchor and made my holes a little larger, figuring this would fix the issue. The same thing happened and I think another one anchor started to buckle as I attempted to insert it - I didn't use the same already weak anchor from my previous attempt. So again - I removed the anchor and made my holes larger - at this point, they're plenty large but still the anchors wouldn't go in, my last attempt to get a, again fresh anchor into the wall ended with the anchor folding in half.

I resisted the urge to throw them across my newly renovated bathroom.

The shower rod was never mounted because of this and I plan to return it.
