Can be generously sized, but may not be easily removable.

Quickly heats and cleans with minimal effort.

First off, we've only used it a few times so this only an initial review. Love the ceramic coating, better than an PFAS non-stick we've had. Will it stand the test of time/cleaning? We shall see. My only gripe is that it's a bit tedious to clean. But well worth the work so far. Amazing waffles! 4.5 stars out of 5

The Cuisinart Belgian Waffle Maker is very well made and works perfectly.  It's easy to open, fill, and lock closed.  It exactly times the perfect waffle.  Although it has an indicator light, I would like it to have an audible beep to let me know when the waffle is done.

Makes the perfect waffles

I received this as a Christmas present to replace my very old, worn out waffle maker. I love this one because it tells you when it is cooked and you don't have to keep picking up the lid and guessing. It made four large waffles which was nice to be able to reheat later in the toaster. I like that it sits up and does not take up a lot of space when not in use. I would highly recommend this waffle iron.

4 Slice Belgian Waffle Maker - Square

Cooks well, easy to store, and I prefer that it doesn't beep when the waffles are done (then it doesn't wake up people who are sleeping if I'm cooking early in the morning). We just replaced our last one of the same model, which lasted 5 years.

Highly recommend

This waffle maker works very well.  The non-stick does an amazing job, so releasing the cooked waffle is a breeze.  The heat appears very uniform, resulting in a beautiful cooked waffle.  Recommended!

Very Solid Waffle Maker

Cooks evenly and is nonstick. Cleans up easily. On first use the waffles came out great after seasoning the grate with cooking oil. Was pleased with the waffles texture and color.

4 Slice Belgian Waffle Maker

So far so good. Makes crispy waffles and is easy to clean. Looking forward to it lasting for many years to come.

Like it

I purchased this waffle maker based on my prior experience with Cuisinart.  It has always been good.  We are already enjoying waffles on this waffle maker.  We are very pleased.  It is easy to use and gives excellent results.

The best parts about this waffle maker have nothing to do with how well it makes waffles.  It is easy to clean, easy to store, compact and simple to manipulate.  However, the cooking is very inconsistent, and not even consistent in areas of the waffle maker.  The spots that run hot are different each time, and it does not reheat well between batches.  It gets the job done, but if you are looking for consistent performance and evenly cooked waffles - this is not your product!  If you want something that works well enough, is easy to clean, and good looking - this is great!

A good but inconsistent waffle maker

I was really excited when it arrived. However in comparison to my old one I quickly became disappointed. 
It takes what I feel an inordinate amount of time to heat up. I used the second highest setting expecting crisp waffles but got soft with no crispness to them.

Not Real Happy

I received this as a replacement from Cuisinart when the top level of my old Cuisinart waffle iron no longer functioned. The "old" waffle iron was less than 3 years old. 

I used the standard waffle recipe that was in the booklet that came with the iron. I used the proper, measured amount for my first waffle and it overflowed on all sides. To add insult to injury, the top level of this iron is faulty, also. The waffle doesn't brown evenly on both sides. 

Aside from these points, since you're asking for feedback, I really wish you made an iron that produces waffles with the standard-depth holes, rather than Belgian-style waffles.
