The Cuisinart Belgian Waffle Maker is very well made and works perfectly.  It's easy to open, fill, and lock closed.  It exactly times the perfect waffle.  Although it has an indicator light, I would like it to have an audible beep to let me know when the waffle is done.

I received this as a Christmas present to replace my very old, worn out waffle maker. I love this one because it tells you when it is cooked and you don't have to keep picking up the lid and guessing. It made four large waffles which was nice to be able to reheat later in the toaster. I like that it sits up and does not take up a lot of space when not in use. I would highly recommend this waffle iron.

4 Slice Belgian Waffle Maker - Square

Using Belgian waffle mix these waffles are light and crispy on the outside. I haven't used regular waffle mix, but feel it will be fine. The machine is a bit heavier than expected, but not bad.

The waffle maker was real easy to use.  I totally cooked the waffles perfectly as per the directions.

Outstanding waffle maker

High quality, heats evenly.  A little slow to warm up, but maintains temp between waffles.  Easy to use. Waffles don't stick.

I've made waffles twice with this machine and they have come out very well. The 1st batch was a bit over cooked (my fault) because my heat setting was a little high. After adjusting the heat a bit downward, they came out perfect. Golden brown, crispy on the outside and spongy inside. One thing I need to point out is that I follow a keto diet so the ingredients don't include wheat flour. Instead my recipe relies on almond and walnut flour, avocado oil, eggs and almond milk. So I considered that a real challenge for this machine and it came through in spades. Another completely different recipe (still keto) came through just as spectacular. I assume it would work just as well for wheat flour based recipes. I would strongly recommend this product.

Waffles from this waffle maker will make you smile

We haven't had a waffle maker since we sold our cottage in the mid 90s ... the waffle maker went with the cottage.  This purchase was a reach back to cottage life and Sunday waffles!!  We used it immediately and loved that experience.  It is very easy to use, easy to clean and easy to store.  It's going to get regular workouts!!

I was really excited when it arrived. However in comparison to my old one I quickly became disappointed. 
It takes what I feel an inordinate amount of time to heat up. I used the second highest setting expecting crisp waffles but got soft with no crispness to them.

Not Real Happy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First batch we made with this new Belgian Waffle Maker was disappointing. The grid/cutouts for this model are not as deep as the standard style Belgian, resulting in a very thin Belgian Waffle. We previously had a commercial type, round style that you rotate to make the waffle. We wanted this Cuisinart model because it was full size, square, and stood up for easy storage. It did not make, what we would call, a full size Belgian Waffle. Even using my tried-and-true waffle recipe- the waffles made on this were very thin, very delicate texture, and would not crisp up.

Great standing-for-storage feature.

Unfortunately this waffle maker doesn't cook the waffles completely especially the top portion maybe a defective unit but cusinart will make good on the warranty
