Great product!! I was looking for something to make rice with the option of straining the water after boiling the rice. Was also looking for a healthy option and nothing can beat steel. This product is made of high quality stainless steel and also everything about it feels so durable. Thanks Cuisinart for making such great products.

The stockpot with strainer cover is excellent.  I use it to cook pasta and the strainer cover stays locked in place with draining. I use a medium cook setting on an electric stove.

Good investment

Very happy with my purchase and use of this stockpot!  Since I ordered it online, I was pleasantly surprised to find that it is not only attractive, but is in fact durable with a solid bottom and sides, and the finish is beautiful.  It has cleaned up easily and has retained its shininess.  The locking and draining lid was an unexpected bonus and a feature that has made me decide to purchase additional ones as gifts for my family members.

Nice gimmick that works

My first pot with strainer cover. I've only had this set for a couple months and the quality is great.

Convenient

This pot is fantastic.  I purchased this to replace an old pot i had for years which was a different brand.  Ive used it a few times now and the only complaint i have which really isnt a complaint is the handles dont stay cool like the other smaller pots with long handles.  Ive purchased most of this complete set now and i look forward to having these for a long time.

Great pot

I love this pot.  Don't listen to some of the reviews that say it has a sharp spot.  It needs to be sharp enough to 'screw' on and hold safely while you are dumping boiling water.  This pot is great for those times when you need a larger amount of pasta and don't want it boiling all over your stove just as company is coming.

This really works!  What a great way to cook and drain pasta. I only wish the pot was a bit bigger.  One lb of penne fit, but its a bit small for 1lb (a whole box) of spaghetti.
