I would give this air fryer a five star rating for how it cooks! My food comes out perfectly cooked every time. Down side is the baking rack is smaller than it should be and falls off the track. It is difficult to slide the food out of the fryer when done. Maybe the larger model is better designed.

Never like a plastic Air Fryer in the first place. Have you seen a plastic Toaster??? Plastic will eventually melt and affects its digital electrical system. The heat affects everything 360 degrees. Cuisinart all metal Air Fryer like my Bread Toaster paid off every cent I've paid for it long term.

Metal housing way better than Plastic

I have been undecided about buying an air fryer since they came out and most recently decided I really didn't need one. Then we got a store credit. There was nothing I needed or wanted so I got the Cuisinart air fryer. I totally love it. The size and shape allows me to store it in my pantry, it cleans beautifully and everything I've cooked is delicious!!

If you're in a hurry or you have lots to do in the kitchen, the air fryer is a great way to speed up dinner.  I bought this for my husband, and we both ❤️ it!  Easy to clean up, too.  I rate it 100%, but then it's a Cuisinart product!  I love my Cuisinart toaster oven, but it's not getting as much use now.  The air fryer is faster, and food is crisper.

unlike the larger size, there is less space within the interior.   Less means not cooking too thick of a meat, etc. Once I was able to react to this properly, I have been able to cook, reheat and prepare  quick meals.  My electric bill is lower, because I do not use the oven with my range. It is a nice machine for 1 person.  I would like to have another rack and pan as a back up

Yes for 1 person

No replacement trays or baskets available. Basket is inexpensively made and may need replacement at some point. Manual recommends inside top be cleaned after use. Delicate sheet metal fan could be damaged. Otherwise fantastic product for the price. Chicken wings/drumsticks, fries,  salmon fillets, and reheating pizza so far can't be beat. The unit exhausts out the back so placement needs some thought. Cord too short to move under the hood for smokey stuff. Well thought out product.

Great product: no replacement parts,cord too short

The Cuisinart AFR-25 compact air fryer is as stated a nice, compact air fryer that looks like it belongs in the kitchen and not in a modern art museum.  It works well, but should state that the air fryer should be allowed a pre-heat before actually cooking.  But with practice, as with most things, we figure how to adapt to its use.  That being said, one of the things I struggle with about this unit is as many have stated in reviews, the timer is not accurate.  I use a separate timer when using the air fryer and use the timer switch on the Cuisinart more or less as the power switch.

It's a Cusinart, what can I say?

I really like this air fryer. I had to take away one star for the fact that it is very easy to burn your hands trying to get the tray and basket out. I really wish it rolled out a few inches when the door opens. The good thing is that is it heats up and cooks fast! It's definitely a time saver. So far everything I've made tastes good. Reheating is also awesome. I would definitely buy this brand again. Good customer service as well.

It's great but with one small flaw...

This is my first air fryer, so I bought a basic model to see if it would meet my needs. Its easy to use with the only controls being a temperature dial and mechanical timer. The oven works fine and cooks frozen foods in about 2/3 the time of a regular oven, but the mesh basket needs to be redesigned. There is no support at the middle of the basket, so it sags and whatever you are cooking sits in the drippings from the food,  defeating the purpose of the air fryer. In addition, the mesh is breaking apart, separating from its bottom support rails/stands, and rusting. The fryer is about 10 months old.

A good basic air fryer in need of a better basket.

I've used it twice and it makes a loud piercing sound and we had to hit on the side. It worked the first time , but not the second. I want it replaced but my daughter can't find the serial number , even though it has been registered with the company. They couldn't cross reference it by name or phone number . Very very disappointed.
