I have been undecided about buying an air fryer since they came out and most recently decided I really didn't need one. Then we got a store credit. There was nothing I needed or wanted so I got the Cuisinart air fryer. I totally love it. The size and shape allows me to store it in my pantry, it cleans beautifully and everything I've cooked is delicious!!

I purchased this air fryer because I wanted something a little more versatile than the standard basket type that had limited room and had to be stirred frequently to get the crispy results I wanted.  It took the place of my toaster over, so I make perfectly golden brown toast & bagels, reheat pizza, veggie burgers are amazing & wings are perfect. It's guilt-free cooking at it's finest!   I Love it!

Overall performance

I love this fryer fits nicely on the counter with other SS appliances not too big. very simple controls heat and time no digital stuff to figure out,holds plenty of food. I have done wings ,chicken thighs,and breaded pork chops in this unit all come out great especially the wings. Very easy to clean as you spray basket and tray with cooking spray before use then baked on food comes right off or can be put in the dishwasher. This unit also heats up very fast and is super quiet .I'm glad I bought this model instead of some other basket type units with too many settings.

A restaurant quality air fryer

I am back with Cuisinart because of your product durability, reputation and integrity.  I have used Cuisinart products since 1975.  Because of health concerns, I purchased an air fryer from another company and had no problem with its performance until about 10 months into its usage when I was constantly adjusting the timing.  Exactly 1 yr and 2 wks after the warranty expired, the appliance was inoperable.  When I checked on the repair fee, it was almost as much as the original purchase.  I decided to return to a company with products I knew to be tried and true!  I have used my fryer daily and the foods are delicious...far better than the other one.  I won't deviate again.

Never like a plastic Air Fryer in the first place. Have you seen a plastic Toaster??? Plastic will eventually melt and affects its digital electrical system. The heat affects everything 360 degrees. Cuisinart all metal Air Fryer like my Bread Toaster paid off every cent I've paid for it long term.

Metal housing way better than Plastic

All in all, I'm pleased with this air fryer.  I like the rectangular shape of the basket, which allows food to be spread out for more even cooking.  But, the design of the air fryer is fairly narrow and does not allow for cooking a whole chicken, etc.  However, I've made some awesome avocado fries so I'm a happy camper:)

New Air Fryer Advocate

The Cuisinart AFR-25 compact air fryer is as stated a nice, compact air fryer that looks like it belongs in the kitchen and not in a modern art museum.  It works well, but should state that the air fryer should be allowed a pre-heat before actually cooking.  But with practice, as with most things, we figure how to adapt to its use.  That being said, one of the things I struggle with about this unit is as many have stated in reviews, the timer is not accurate.  I use a separate timer when using the air fryer and use the timer switch on the Cuisinart more or less as the power switch.

It's a Cusinart, what can I say?

CONS:  The Temperature Dial is not accurate.  Cannot figure out why Cuisinart did not opt for a Digital Dial.   The Timer is not adjustable (again digital timer???) ... if you need to lessen cooking time ... forget it just rely on another timer.  The food in the back of the oven cooks faster than in the front which makes me question the seal on the door.   If you want/need to check food; you have to remove the whole tray, losing heat.  PRO: 3 year warranty, does not take up a lot of space.  Clean up is easy, soak the basket & tray and wipe down the interior ..done!   Not the best Cuisinart appliance in my kitchen.

Cuisinart Air Fryer needs an upgrade to Digital

i have only used it 4 times and am following the times stated in the manual. however, every time the food is overcooked by a minute or 2. i am still playing around with the times and temp. i am determined to figure this out. cooking in the fryer is so much healthier for the family.

determined to get this right

I've used it twice and it makes a loud piercing sound and we had to hit on the side. It worked the first time , but not the second. I want it replaced but my daughter can't find the serial number , even though it has been registered with the company. They couldn't cross reference it by name or phone number . Very very disappointed.
