When looking for a toaster to replace one that lasted for more than ten years can be a job in its self.

Today's products do not have long shelf life because of various reasons, so to find a product with durability is something to talk about.

I do not know if my 4-slice Cuisinart toaster will last as long as the previous one but it has a good start with the quality in materials.

The toasting options work as describe and it makes it easy to accommodate different requests in one function.

This product is easy to clean and holds its own, when it comes to appearance, on the counter for any kitchen.

When looking for a toaster, whether to replace, buying for the first time or for a gift, the Cuisinart 4-slice toaster should be the first to look into.

A TOASTER WITH STYLE

cuisinart.com

I decided to upgrade to a 4 slice toaster when my trusty 2 slice toaster gave up the ghost recently. I'm very pleased with this new addition to our kitchen. While it does take up more room, the sacrifice in space has definitely been worth it. This toaster is straightforward in design, easy to use, and toasts bread very nicely.
PROS:
Adjustable browning for each set of two slices
Multiple settings for bagels, pastry, frozen, etc
Handle lifts to raise bread higher so you don't have to dig for smaller items like English muffins.
Even browning
Fast. This is entirely subjective on my part, but this toaster delivers a nicely browned piece of toast MUCH faster than my old toaster (a higher end toaster from another company).

CONS:
Slight amount of slack in browning selector knobs
No nothched guide in the back/bottom to keep the cord in one place.

All in all, I'm very happy with my purchase. I even ordered the two slice version of this toaster for my mom. She loves hers as well.

Less waiting at breakfast

Even browning both sides. Faster than toaster oven and I can walk away and it does not burn; pops up and voila...it's ready!

Toaster

walmart.com

I bought this toaster about a month ago and it works fantastic! I knew I couldn't go wrong with a Cuisinart product and I was quite fed up with other brands at this point. The Cuisinart is made very nice and it toasts perfectly. Well done on this toaster Cuisinart.

Great toaster!

This is a replacement toaster for one we'e had for long time. After reading many reviews, I took a chance on this one and have not been disappointed. I do not eat toaster pastries and very seldom eat bagels so cannot speak to the abilities of the toaster with regard to those two items but for toast and Naan bread, it works perfectly. It toasts evenly and toasts nicely on a fairly low setting. Can definitely recommend it to others. Also, the crumb trays do what they are supposed to.

A Very Nice Toaster

I've had this toaster for about a month, so have used it about 6 times. I like the settings for defrost and bagels . Cuisinart is a good brand so I'm hoping this toaster will last several years, unlike other cheaper brands that have failed in the past.

good toaster

Cuisinart makes very good products I own several kitchen small appliances which are Cuisinart so I purchased this toaster. It performs well and quick . I like my toast lightly browned so 2 is perfect setting of course the darker you like the higher the number . Bagel setting works great like my bagel the same as my toast only I increased setting between 2 and 3 worked perfectly. Cancel button works perfectly stops what your toasting. Only thing I haven't tried is frozen setting which I would assume is for waffles, frozen pancakes etc. last but definitely not the least is longevity of product mine is brand new so l can't answer that yet but if it is like my coffee maker of the same brand it is 7 years plus and still working like new. That's why I didn't give it 5 stars yet could be in future.

Great Toaster

this toaster does a veery good job the bread evenly on both sides
with one exception. If you only toast one piece of bread one side will be burnt.
I wish I would have known that before i bought it

TOASTING

Got it as a gift. I needed a new one because my old one toasted unevenly. This one is more even. Still a bit uneven. One disappointment. The bagel setting. Instead of toasting one side more than the other like my old one did, it just toasts both sides longer. English muffins and bagels benefit from toasting one side darker than the other. I miss that.. You need to spend more to get a better features.

Good budget toaster

I bought this toaster to replace a failing Breville (eight years old). I have owned other Cuisinart products which I liked. This toaster is a total disappointment. First, it is almost impossible to get your bread lightly toasted. Even setting the dial down to 2 (from 0-6), part of the bread was burnt.

Second - and even worse - the bagel setting is NOT a true bagel setting. The toaster still toasts both sides of a bagel or english muffin. It is not explained to the consumer in the product description, only in the manual (once you have actually bought it). It states that the bagel button adds extra time, because “bagels are thicker” than regular sliced bread. So it burns your bagel on BOTH sides.

Thank goodness Walmart allows you to return items, because I would really hate getting stuck with this toaster.

What a disappointment
