Best toaster I've ever used, without question - and I eat toast every morning. I had four adult children and their spouses home for Christmas and they all commented on this toaster. We toasted many types of bread, muffins and toaster pastries. We did need a little trial and error to perfect our personal preferences but with six types of breads/muffins/pastries and seven toast shades we all had just what we wanted. The motorized "lift and lower" is super smooth and whisper quiet - none of the raucous sounds of springs and latches. "Quickview" will raise and re-lower your favorites so you can have a glance at their progress - WITHOUT turning off the toasting element. Looking a bit too light for your tastes? Simply press the +30 Secs button to add to the toasting time. The MemorySet  feature allows you to dial in your favorite settings and from then on you'll get your perfect toast with the touch of one button! Honestly couldn't be happier with this wonderful toaster - what took so long?

We buy toasters when they are marked down if needed. This Cuisinart 2-Slice Motorized Toaster was almost half price so we picked it up. Pretty self explanatory controls. With a little experimenting it has been working very well. Time will tell. No issues so far after a month or so. We have only used it for toast, English muffins and Eggo waffles. It has settings for those and we've had fairly consistent results. We're glad we bought it.

Good for the money so far

The best toaster I ever had! I had a previous one, but after 3 yrs it ran its course. I wanted to buy the same exact Toaster, because it is very easy to use when I just want to heat up tortillas for the 30 second feature. It's easy and fast!

I love how there are settings for different types of bread. Various selections for toast shade as well as a memory setting that can be saved to promote efficiency. Works nicely.

Gotta have this one!

I actually have the 4 slice but, the drop downs when registering the product, did NOT provide an option for my model. That being said, this is my second leverless Cuisinart over the years. this is a vast improvement from the previous model,which I gifted to a close friend, after the purchase of this new model. Excellent product feature and perfectly evenly toasting. I highly recommend.

A Toast!

The best toaster I have ever had! Simple to use and the electrical lowering and rising of toast is awesome. Setting the darkness of the bread and being able to see how the bread is cooking and adding 30 seconds is ingenious.  I love the toaster so much I just ordered another one for my home in Florida.  Great product! You will not be disappointed.😎

BEST TOASTER EVER!!

We replaced our 10+ year old Cuisinart toaster with a new Cuisinart toaster that is an even better toaster than its predecessor. The replaced toaster was beginning to toast bread unevenly; our new toaster toasts evenly across the types of breads, pastries, and bagels that we use. The user-selectable item to be toasted and the ease of the other toasting functions makes this automated toaster and even better purchase.

This is a great toaster that requires several test toastings to know the levels of browsing.  The motorized lowering and raising is very useful with the sound notification when done.  Choosing from a variety of bread options is a no guess feature.  Determining level of toasting requires trial and error but when done can be stored in the memory.  Browning on both sides is fairly even but can vary.  It is not clear which slot to use for single slices when both slots heat.  Overall this is a fine toaster with a number of useful options including a 30 second add on to prolong the toasting time.  Definitely worth having in the kitchen.

This is a great toaster! It has so many features to toast different types of bread. I would say it does beep after it is done, but is a good safety feature.

Great Toaster for Everyday Use!

This the second Cuisinart toaster we purchased. Returned the first one (non-motorized version) because it toasted extremely uneven. One side of the bread was toasted nicely, the other side almost not at all. Bought this upgraded model and it does the same thing. Returned it today.
