We're fans of Cuisinart...toaster, coffee maker, etc.  We had a Cuisinart four slice toaster for 12+ years.  I noticed after all that time that it was taking longer for toasting to be completed as we like it.  Upon inspection the elements weren't as strong as they were more than 12 years ago.  The answer - buy a new 4-slice toaster!  We got the same model and retired the old one.  That is a testament to our confidence in the Cuisinart brand.

Just a great toster at a fair price

This toaster works great!  This is our second of the same model, the first one wore out after many years of service.  We really enjoy the different settings.

Good Toaster

I have this sleeve in a different size for one of my other computers, and was thrilled to find it in this size and for such an affordable price. I was a little concerned about whether or not it would fit my new laptop (Sony VAIO), since the computer itself was more than 14", but it fits fine! It seems like it would fit any 14" display laptop.

This sleeve is extremely protective, and I use it to travel to and from work as well as for airplane travel. It is very sleek and keeps my carry-on bag light.

I have had my first Case Logic Sleeve (different size) for over a year and it shows no signs of wear and tear...looks brand new! I expect this one to hold up the same.

This toaster has great options and saves space on our counter. It gets a lot of use and we are very happy with our decision to buy it. We looked at a lot of toasters to compare features before buying and this one is a great replacement for our old one.

Great 4 slice toaster

This toaster was expensive…
But,
I wanted something that wasn't mostly plastic.  This toaster was that.  It's all stainless steel.  Exactly what I wanted.  It's working well, so far.  There is a learning curve when using all the different settings, but the variety of toasting cycles is fantastic.  It's also more solidly built than other toasters I've owned.  No regrets with this purchase.

Is it Worth The Cost?

This 4-slice toaster has many great features. The English muffin and waffle settings are extremely convenient in rendering a well toasted muffin and frozen waffle. The toaster's "toasting darkness" setting provides for a consistent shade of toasting. After a few trial & error toastings, exact settings can be consistently maintained for your preferred shade on each bread type of item. The removable crumb trays are conviently located in the rear of the toaster. One does needs to e mindful that the toaster's metal exterior surface does become quite warm/hot after toasting. Overall this toaster is a good value.

Many Great Features!

This was a replacement purchase for my old Cuisinart I was in love with over a decade.  I liked how this resembled my old one, a retro stainless steel look.  If it wasn't for its good functionality, I would give it a two-star.  The housing gets too hot to the touch that I cannot put it up after use for awhile.  The slide down lever do NOT catch - I always have to push down with more energy than should be necessary; almost always, a new user asks me "what's wrong with this?" then I have to instruct him/her to push down HARD.

Does its job

Flimsy and inaccurate toasting degrees. The many choices of types of toast are overkill. And you can't hear the toast pop up.  Our other one lasted at least 10 years. This one doesn't seem to be sturdy enough for that long a life. Really disappointed after our last cousin set 4 slice toaster

Poor replacement

My second Cuisinart toaster. Similar, but this one is missing the timer readout and the levers are uneven both while and after toasting. Difficult to remove muffins and other smaller items. The selection dials are more difficult to adjust than were the buttons on my previous toaster. This new one seems lighter and less solidly made.
