IT TOOK ME A LITTLE BIT OF TIME TO PUT THE UNIT TOGETHER. AFTER IT WAS TOGETHER IT TOOK ME A LITTLE PRACTICE TO GET THE FEEL OF IT.
ONCE I GOT THE HANG OF IT THE SLICER WAS VERY EASY TO USE. THE ONLY THING EXTRA I DID WAS TO PUT A LITTLE WATER ON THE BLADE AND GLIDE SO IT MOVE EASY.

ABILITY TO USE PRODUCT

I was very unhappy with the Cuisinart mandolin. Due to the design it only let me slice half of a potato and then I had to slice the Rest by hand. I tried slicing a tomato at the desired setting in the instruction manual and it just turned to mush.
