I have the 1.5 qt. model and like to use for family gatherings but is to much for just 2. This is a fun to use little machine, works great! I think is was a good investment. Compact Fast and Easy

My new favorite! Total impulse purchase and so worth it. It is the perfect size for a small kitchen, makes the perfect amount for 2, and is super easy to use. So far each batch has come out great! The specific recipes are interesting and fun and I cannot wait to make more!

It is a Wonder!

This ice cream maker is solidly built and easy to use with a bit of advance preparation required. It makes a perfect amount for two people. Our first batch made a creamy, delicious ice cream. It was a bit soft but still adequately frozen for immediate consumption. We froze some of the leftover ice cream and it firmed up nicely for later use.

Great ice cream maker for two

Great little ice cream maker! Got this as a Christmas gift and have used it to make vanilla and chocolate ice creams, a strawberry dragonfruit sorbet, and a lemon sorbet. Very easy to use and clean , and makes just the right size of ice cream for us - about one pint. Looking forward to trying more ice creams and sorbets.

Cute little ice cream maker! The freezer part is small enough to always keep frozen and ready for a quick batch. So fun to have around.

Sweet Little Maker

This is an amazing little appliance.  My wife saw a different brand of ice cream maker on-line on sale.  But, it seemed overly complicated and had some issues with durability.  Anyway, we started looking at other brands and found the Cuisinart line.  They have good reviews and ratings.  When we found this 1 pint version for sale for less than half MSRP, we decided to try it without investing a lot of money.  Long story short, it makes the most delicious ice cream without all the artificial ingredients and other additives.  The Cuisinart recipes are very simple to make, with only a few ingredients.  We have even experimented with great results.  The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is that, unlike the larger models where ingredients are added through a hole in the top, this small one has a small funnel-like opening in the side.  It is not especially easy to add ingredients and some tend to collect there or around the top of the freezer bowl.  If you're looking for a counter-top electric ice cream maker, I heartily recommend the Cuisinart brand, just get one of the larger units.

A Surprisingly Good Little Ice Cream Maker

I had high hopes for a single serve ice cream maker.
I froze the container for 2 days. 
Made my first batch and the ice cream never firmed up and did not  become creamy. 
It remained like a thin soup consistency. 
After freezing this mixture it did solidify but it was more of an ice milk then an ice cream.

Disappointed in the results.

Dissapointing

Was disappointed. Even with cold ingredients and freezer bowls frozen for several days, the mixture would not freeze. The machine works perfectly but no ice cream was made. We ended up just pouring the ice cream mixture into freezer containers and putting them directly into the freezer.
