This is the second Cuisinart food processor I have purchased. The first one lasted an amazing 25 years. I love how easy it makes cooking. Thanks Cuisinart.

Cuisinart 13 cup food processor

cuisinart.com

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This processor is a workhorse. I had one exactly like it fo 30 years before it burned out. I was thrilled to find almost the same one. Only difference is the plastic bowl is not as strong as my last cuisinart. Hope this one lasts another 30 years. Powerful machine and won't disappoint.

Won't disappoint...

I use this processor every day - except Sunday, my day "off". I beat the crap out of this machine. Shredding and pulverizing lacinato kale by the crammed fistfuls, beets through the shredder disc and pulverized below - I have actually destroyed a shredder disc doing this in anger one too many times. Must be more gentle. I lose my temper in the kitchen easily and take it out on the machines. I think that Cuisinart - pronounced "Cousin Art" around here to lighten the mood - despite the reviews comparing it to earlier model build quality, makes a fine, robust appliance. I am getting another one, and relegating the "old" one as insurance/backup, because I cannot be without a food processor for even one day. My wife requires daily fresh vegan fare, which I, poor soul, am duty-bound to provide.

Going on two and a half years

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's been the food processor that I have been dreaming about. No more nightmares it's a wonderful product and I suggest don't walk but run out and buy one. Thank you Cuisinart.

Processing at its best

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to assemble, use, clean and store.
I love it.

Purchased diceing kit and spiraling too.

I spent a long time researching processors in this price bracket and range of features. I homed in on the Cuisinart and had to wait several months as it was out of stock. I am so glad I waited. It has exceeded expectations in every detail and functions. It is very well built. It looks a bit daunting at first with all the accessories but it took no time at all to understand the concept and start using. I am very happy that it's bread mixing capacity is strong. I wasn't expecting to be able to make a standard size loaf but no problem at all. No hesitation in recommending.

Robust and powerful

cuisinart.co.uk

I bought this a few weeks ago to replace a cheaper and always unsatisfactory machine. So far the Cuisinart has proven to be very good at everything I have asked of it. Things are chopped, shredded, spiralised etc. so quickly and efficiently. It made the scones from the Cuisinart book as well as it could bearing in mind that it became obvious that the recipe was too generous on liquid! Fairly easy to clean and, providing there is space for the storage box, it is far better than having everything packed away inside the machine. It is immediately available therefore used. So far is definitely so good!

Impressive!

Cuts are rarely uniform (doesn't have to be but when you get 3 good slices and the rest mangled it gets irksome).
The strength of the motor is amazing.
The cup size is usually perfect for what I need.
If you want to use the processor for multiple items though, you have to rinse nearly every part because everything inside is exposed to the food.
Overall so much better than hand

My insight

I bought this following the good housekeeping award for best food processor of 2021, to be honest I'm very disappointed with the machine. It's overly complicated and not easy to use.
The small bowl feature is next useless as it sits inside the larger bowl when in use, the result being whatever is being processed ends up in the larger bowl, meaning you then have to wash both parts up.
The "pusher" is a complex shape and also difficult to clean, especially in the dishwasher as it traps water inside the body of the pusher.
Just be aware that all the parts take up a huge amount of space, I needed to empty an entire kitchen cupboard to accommodate all the parts.

Disappointed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] They don't make these like they used to. This machine works well but lacks the user-friendly way old school food processors work. Also, the rack to store the tools is confusing. I also have a problem with one of the blades unable to detatch from the rod.

I had the original cuisinart food processor and finally need a new one. got this one and simply hate it. the bowl is impossible to scrape, when you blend it makes a mess and you can't use any tool to scrape it all back down into the bowl. i would give it a zero if the web site allowed. really disappointed with this product.
