I been buying cuisineart products for 25 years. The hot air popcorn makes is a great  product. I fall in love with this product. It makes popcorn so well .l am one of those people think about health first so for that reason you don't have to use any oil or butter so I love absolutely love it.

We are enjoying our Air Popper. Easy to setup and use. The only improvement I could suggest is to find a way to stop the hot air from blowing oñ my face. I continually have to scoop up unpopped kernels and toss them back in the popper. This necessitates standing in front of the popper. Thanks

Enjoying, but ...

We have thoroughly enjoyed our new air popper. The first couple of batches we made with it were with some older kernels and they didn't pop very well. We bough a new jar of fresh kernels and they popped better, but still wasted a couple of tablespoons worth of kernels. Still, much healthier than microwave popcorn and much tidier than stovetop, so the good far outweighs the bad, overall.

A little wasteful, but beats the alternative

Kernels tend to jump out during the heating process, unpopped. I use the measure cup provided and also tried a little less to see if it would help. The popped corn is fluffy and abundant, but I don't like wasting kernels, or chasing them down on the counter and floor. I like the capacity (especially if all the kernels popped). Cooling function is interesting but maybe not needed.

Bought this for a healthier popcorn snack without oils or perservatives from microwave popcorn.  The unit works really well but it can throw kernals out when its popping. Minor issue but it does happen. The resulting popcorn is very good

Easy Pop Hot Air Popcorn Maker

I had read reviews about this product before I purchased it and wasn't sure I could trust the negative reviews. But, unfortunately, I have to agree with some of them. While I'm not totally dissatisfied with this popper, un-popped kernels do in fact shoot out of it before the popping starts. When this happens I try to toss them back into the machine. When the popping starts, some of the popcorn shoots out of the popper landing on the floor and counter. I guess there must be some sort of design floor. Other than that, the popcorn that is produced is great.

Kinda Disappointed Although Not Totally Surprised

My previous hot air popper had a deeper well for kernels and a higher arch on the lid.  The kernels stayed in until they got warm enough to pop.  This popper had a very wide and shallow lid and threw many kernels out before they popped.  Plus the ones at the bottom didn't pop. It also had kind of a burned taste.  I was disappointed since I have had so many good Cuisinart products.

Returned, disappointed by performance

Great popcorn popper if you want uncooked kernels all over.  Helps if you tilt the machine backwards but who wants to stand there holding the machine while extremely hot air pours out the front.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It makes great popcorn but it also makes a mess!  As the air is swirling around, uncooked, very hot kernels come flying out in all directions.  If you tilt the popper a little it helps but this is something that should not be happening.

Not great!

Kernels fly out before popping. Too many fly out. This is a poorly designed air popper. I would recommend they redesign and manufacture a new model that works more efficiently, and replace the ones that don't work properly.
