The Cuisinart DGB 450 Grind & Brew is a wonderful choice for anyone who wants quality fresh ground coffee at home. The built-in grinder is efficient, the controls are intuitive, and coffee maker handles both whole beans and pre-ground coffee. It's reliable, easy to use, and produces a delicious cup every time. For the price, the performance and convenience are amazing. The Cuisinart DGB 450 Grind & Brew is absolutely worth it.

Wonderful and stylish coffee maker!

I had the predecessor to the DGB-400 Grind and Brew. It was a pretty good coffee maker and I had it for about 10 years before it finally started leaking on the counter. So, I bought the DGB-400. There were a few improvements. First, it is much easier to program, and it is easier to set up and use. One thing I love about the new model is that I can pour the water into the tank from the front rather than the side. But the best thing about the new model is that the coffee tastes so much better. My wife and I both noticed how much better the coffee tastes even though were are still using the same beans we used with the old coffee maker. I set it to grind and brew at 5:00 am, and it is very faithful. My coffee is always ready and it is good. The new model is easier to keep clean also. I would definitely recommend this model to a friend, and the price is right. I was going to buy a few extra parts (such as the grinder and grinder lid) so I can rinse them out and put them in the dishwasher, but after researching prices, I decided it would be just as cheap to buy an additional DGB-400 and use some of the parts from it. In the event my new coffee maker has a problem, I have everything I need on hand already.

Best Coffee Maker Ever

After much research I settled on the Cuisinart  12 cup grind and brew model  because it was compact enough to easily be used in my small kitchen and provide fresh coffee. I enjoy preparing it the night before and turning it on upon getting up, although it can be set to come on automatically.  I also like that it keeps the coffee very hot for at least 2 hours after brewing. Cleaning parts daily is a bit time consuming, but I prefer to keep it really clean. I also like the reusable gold filter.  I've used it for about 2 months and so far I highly recommend this model.

Compact design and great flavor

I am really pleased with our new coffee brewer. Cuisinart has always served us well over the years with their quality. This time was no exception. I would highly recommend this brewer or anything else with their brand. The coffee is wonderful at 6:15 in the morning.

Coffee Grinder/Brewer

My wife purchased a Cuisinart auto-grind coffee maker for me about 25 years ago. It was still working, but we purchased a new one. It was VERY similar, but with some nice upgrades. The coffee grinder is better muffled and less noisy. The filter holder is latched in better and won't "pop" out unexpectedly. Plus, I LOVE the programmer! I like waking up to a fresh brewed cup of coffee. All in all, I think I'm set for the next 25 years.

Improved version of the Auto-grind coffee maker

Excellent coffee machine. Grinds the beans easily and brews quicker than my old machine. Also used pre-ground coffee as well and works great. The permanent filter does not leave grinds through the brew. Highly recommend this purchase for ease of use and quality.

Excellent purchase!

We have purchased multiple Cuisinart coffeemakers in the past. We like the grind & brew because the coffee tastes so fresh. We are disappointed with the carafe. It drips when you pour the coffee.

Makes good coffee. Doesn't pour well

This coffee maker is a very solid machine that makes good cups of coffee. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is due to the amount of beans that can be ground in one brew. The basket only allows for "4" cups worth of beans, but for those who like stronger coffee, the grinder cannot grind enough beans to make a stout brew with 4 cups of water in the reservoir. With that being said, it was still a great deal on sale and worth the money for a Christmas present.

Very good coffee maker

Overall very happy with this coffee maker, which was a Christmas gift, replacing my Keurig, sorry Keuig... I was skeptical about the size of the scoop (1 Tbsp), but brews like 2 Tbsp, so saving on the amount of coffee used. I like the reservoir area, as it is easy to pour the water in. The grinder is very powerful, (a little loud), but does an excellent job, very fine coffee. I have not run into any downside on this coffee maker, very happy!

Automatic Grind and Brew 12 Cup Coffee Maker

We've been using Cuisinart coffee makers for at least 28 years. When one would finally break, we would simply by another one, knowing their consistency for making a great cup a joe. However, this new coffee maker has too many problems to list. I wish we had stayed with the old style rather than opting for a higher end one that has multiple issues.
