I purchased this blender, or should I say, this mixed-use machine, for several reasons. First, we are a Cuisinart family. We own a beautiful food processor, have purchased several coffee makers, own many Cuisinart utensils and small electric appliances. We love them all. Second, we have severe illness in our immediate family and this blender enables me to produce high-quality, protein-enriched, smoothies that I firmly believe contain healing properties. The recipe booklet that accompanied our machine is fabulous but even without it, the sky's the limit because this blender is so powerful. But make no mistake, this blender will create magnificent smoothies, refreshing drinks,  soups, and chop salad ingredients like no other. The Cuisinart name is a name to be trusted and supported. A Gesture of Love

This blender is a monster! I decided to try and eat healthier by adding greens to my fruit and protein powder smoothies. My old 700 watt blender could never completely blend the kale into the mix which make the texture a bit gritty. No problem for this bad boy, it makes the kale, broccoli, spinach etc completely disappear. Frozen fruit is no problem either. I haven't tried making my own rice flour yet but I sure feel that it is more than capable of handling the job. I have always been pleased with my Cuisinart appliances and this one is no exception.

The smoothest smoothies

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This new blender was a replacement for another that was 20 years old. It preforms much better and cleaning couldn't be easier. It makes the best smoothies. Sauces and marinades come out flawlessly.

This is hands down the best blender!  We like to make thick smoothies and with most blenders you need a wand to clear air bubbles or to keep moving frozen chunks into the blades.    Not this blender.   Set it on smoothies and let her rip!   Thick and SMOOTH!    An truly awesome piece of equipment.

The PERFECT blender.

I am very happy with the Hurricane Pro 3.5. I use mostly frozen ingredients but one cup of liquid for base. I have recommended this to a friend its far superior to the lessor model which looks identical. I purchased the lesser version and returned it as it couldn't handle the ingredients.

This blender is amazing!!  Very powerful!!  And clean up is a breeze.  If you make smoothies with frozen ingredients, this blender handles it with no problem.  Even has 2 smoothie settings to blend extra long if you need to get veggies to break down finer.  We love this thing.  Is so fun to watch!!

Hurricane Blender is amazing!!

Exceptionally great blender.  Crushes ice like a dream and makes smoothies and my Keto style coffee eazy peezy!  I love that it can handle hot liquids and soups and also how easy it is to clean it up.  I also appreciate the one piece construction which means I'm not having to worry about the cheap plastic components that are such a problem on lower quality blenders.  Highly recommend!

Great blender with easy clean up!

Three things......when adjusting the speed setting I would like it to stay at that setting until I want to adjust again. Every morning it returns back to where it was before I adjusted it. I do not like the pre-messaging every morning. Just let me turn it on and start. I don't want to wait until it gets finished telling me what it is. I already know what it is. I don't want to be told every morning. i am 66 years old and would love the settings to be illuminated. The blender is used every morning. I love the internal sensor to detected resistance. It isn't as loud as I thought it would be. I am a smoothie experimenting freak. So far this blender does a great job.

Performance

I had to send it back. Upon first trying it, it started smoking, due to the rubber base pad spinning around the center pad ring. Pieces of rubber started flying off. Scared me to death. I do want to order another one to try again. I think this one was just faulty. But it was expensive even though my money was refunded. Still have to re-budget for another.
