We received the Cuisinart 14 cup programmable several years ago as a Christmas gift. When the heater plate no longer operated, I knew I would replace it with the same one. Each week I use the programmable setting the night before to begin brewing early in the morning. The other features I really appreciate are the temperature settings for Hot, medium, or low. (I prefer hot.) Plus, a cleaning filter with the lit light when cleaning is needed. A nice feature is the tone to let me know when coffee is ready. I most likely will replace other coffee makers at cabin and TV when they expire.

I absolutely love this coffee maker. It's actually my 2nd one, only because I relocated across the country and did not bring all my items, so I sold my old one for super cheap and bought myself a new one once I got settled in my new area. I missed it when I didn't have it! I love that it can make 14 cups for when I have guests, but it can also just make my 5-6 cups for in the morning. I love waking up to my coffee already made for me (automatic feature), I swear it's one of my reasons I love waking up. It's also super easy to set and use, it really does heat to the perfect temperature, the automatic shut off feature feels like a safety-net, just-in-case, and it has a sleek look/design.

The Only Coffee Maker for Me!

I've had cuisinart coffee makers for years.  WhenIt was time to replace, I decided on the 14 cup programmable.  The brew strength feature is one of my favorites, as I don't always want or need a full pot. It's easy to use and program, and brews a full pot quickly. My only minor complaint is that the lid to the pot is a bit tight and can be tough to get off to clean and fill the carafe.

Brews a great cup

Cuisinart has done it again!  While many appliance manufacturers tend to create "new and improved" appliances, Cuisinart focuses on refining what already works well. I recently purchased the DCC-3200 to replace an older (14 years) model of the same type.  Everything on the new machine was better than before. The quality of materials, fit, and finish, as well as the ease of operation, were top-notch.  I think this one will definitely outlast the old version.  My son-in-law retired his old version as well . . . It was the first one we owned, and we gave it to them about 15 years ago...that pot was still working up to 18 years.

One Coffee Machine You Don't Want to Miss

Bought this coffee maker recommended by a friend and at a great price.  It makes great coffee and has nice features, but the carafe is hard to dry.  Whether washed by hand or by machine water is trapped between the glass and plastic rim.  The water dribbles out randomly while trying to dry the carafe. It takes awhile to get it totally dry and invariably drips one more time when you think you are done. Poor carafe design.

Great features, but

A decent coffee maker. Can make a lot of cups. Fairly fast. Great reusable filter. Easy to operate. 

This is the second of this model we have owned. Replacement as our first one purchased 3 or 4 yrs ago started to leak and the warmer was rusting through.

I love this coffeemaker!!! This is my 3rd one!  It's in the stainless steel and I had 1 in the bronze/darker stainless steel. They both are beautiful!  The main reason that I love this one is the large 14 cup carafe!  I'm a coffahilic and a10or12 cup isn't going to cut it. Like I said this brand and this maker are the best!  The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is because the replacement carafe handle wasn't perfect-it was off center. It could still work but just looked off. Luckily I saved my last 2 carafes so I had the other I could use and I did. Not a big deal and I'm sure they'd replace it but just couldn't wait that long. Also the way it's designed saves space which is very important if you have a smaller kitchen.  Anyway, if a keurig doesn't cut it, then you'll love this 14 cup coffeemaker by cuisinart!

Awesome Coffeemaker!!!

The coffee maker itself seems to work just fine. I have had this item for less than a month. A week ago, the brand new glass pot decided to break while the hot coffee was being brewed. Luckily no one was hurt and I was sent a replacement. I am watching the new one very carefully. It looked as if the glass actually melted.

Worked great for 2 weeks until the pot exploded...

Looks pretty. Makes 14 cups. Doesn't make very good coffee. Excessive steam comes out of the top and will probably ruin my cabinets. Unfortunately, I don't have any place else to put it except for under the cabinets. I tried to return it when I discovered this issue however the store where I purchased it had a 14-day return policy and wouldn't take it back.

Large capacity

This coffeemaker does brew a great cup of coffee. It's easy to program and use and looks very nice in the kitchen. It does however have an annoying flaw.
Whenever you lift the lid to the filter basket, a large amount of  condensation runs down the back of the machine. A few drops would be normal but this is several tablespoonfuls.  It's quite annoying

Good product with some flaws

This is the FIFTH Cusinart 14 cup.  They usually fail before the 3 year warranty and I get a replacement.  I keep buying the same mode because I'm familiar with the functions.
