Love this attachment! We made bucatini the other night, it comes out much thicker than store bought which was fine with us. You do have to be careful not to put too big of dough chunks in or it gets clogged easily. But overall I love it!

Great product

Fun tool to make own pasta. Takes some time to get used to but once you do, it is really cool. Takes much longer to create pasta than a box of premade noodles but if you are looking for homemade this tool is great.

Yes, it does what it says it's going to do, and yes it does it well.  Started off by making Rigatoni.  The drawback is that the unit is VERY difficult to clean.  The main unit is not submersible, and therefore almost impossible to get clean.  The removable plate and auger can be soaked and cleaned, and dishwasher safe .

Good unit...very difficult to clean.

Easy to use but didn't work for me. Using the spaghetti attachment requires the speed of the mixer to be set at 10 which tends to heat up the extruder attachment and the spaghetti starts sticking to each other as it comes out (before it even hits the tray). Also tried the rigatoni and fusilli attachments. Since both those required a lower speed the extruder didn't heat up but the pasta that came out was too thick and we didn't enjoy it.

Easy to use, but not perfect

Have been experiencing with my extruder...concerned my mixer will overheat but to date, it has not.

THE EXTRUDER COLLAPSED THE PASTA.  SO WHEN I COOKED THE PASTA IT CAME OUT LIKE A VERY DENSE PIECE OF DOUGH.  THE HOLE DIDN'T KEEP THE SHAPE.  MY PASTA DOUGH WAS PERFECT.  I'M NOT HAPPY WITH IT['S PERFORMANCE AND WOULD LIKE TO RETURN IT AND EXCHANGE FOR THE PASTA ROLLER AND CUTTER ATTACHMENT.  PLEASE CONTACT ME URGENTLY. THANK YOU.

EXTRUDER DID NOT PERFORM AS PROMISED

It's really not user friendly.  I've tried 3 different types of pasta. The dough comes out of the 4 holes and sticks together.  So annoying!  The only one that worked somewhat was the rigatoni. I had to remove the pasta cutter because it kept falling off!  I'm not happy with this extruder.
