I was apprehensive after reading some of the reviews especially the one that mentioned liquid coming out of it when you are blending.  I have had no such issue and have used it several times in several ways.  It washes well in the top rack of the dishwasher.

This Cuisinart food processor is my second purchase.  I have one a bit smaller; however, I began using the food processor to make pie crust, and I needed a larger model.  This one works perfectly for me.  Grating cheese is easy as is making pie crust from scratch.  I love it.

Great product

This food processor is what I have been dreaming of and didn't know it. It has more power than most people's home theater systems and can process food faster than your bank processes overdraft fees. The slicer and grating attachments have been perfect. They've helped with everything that the blade couldn't. If you want to impress your mom or another person who doesn't know they need this, get them it.

Powerrrrrrrr!

My old food processor recently (finally after 25 years of service) died, and my husband bought me a new Cuisinart Prep 11 Plus for Christmas.  I used it for the first time last week and am thrilled with the way it handles the food.  It shredded and sliced peppers, squash, zucchini and carrots instantly, and chopped onions in a flash!  I am truly happy with this product and hope it lasts as long as its predecessor (which was not a Cuisinart).

Amazing Food Processor

I replaced my original one from the 70's with this one and LOVE it!  The large capacity is awesome!  Held enough for me to process ingredients for a 9 inch cheese cake without spillage and it's super easy to clean!! Can't wait to try processing bread dough in this thing which was not possible with my old one.

reliable and easy to use and clean

I purchased my Cuisinart Prep 11 Plus Food Processor early in December knowing the holiday food season was upon me. If there is anything I don't like about cooking, it's slicing and dicing, and I knew there would be a lot of that in my holiday cooking. Wow! My food prep only takes seconds!

I have only one complaint, and it is getting my batters out of the processor bowl and into a pan. I have always been one to scrape as much out of the bowl as possible. I haven't developed a technique for doing that with the center stem of the bowl to work around. I find that I have more waste than I usually tolerate.

Speedy Food Prep

I like it. It is quiet and fast and efficient. I wish it were just a little less efficient. I want to chop cooked chicken for dog food. It is almost a paste in the blink of an eye.  I also want to chop kale for salad. It is too fine  before I can stop it. It does a fantastic job of shredding cabbage for cole slaw and carrots and cheese. I'm sure I will find other wonderful ways to use it. It is sturdy and reliable. I like the clean modern look.

Cuisinart food processor

I usually like the Cuisinart products but this one was very disappointing.  When trying to just chop some dries bread into bread crumbs the blade would consistently become dislodged and lift off. This product needs an upgrade to where the blade will lock in place. I ended up returning this after trying to use for a couple days just to be left disappointed.

Left Disappointed

I bought this a month ago and find that is not as easy to use as my previous one(Pro Custom 11 Food Processor DLC-8S series.)  It is difficult  to attach the container to the motor and the pulse button is too small and stiff to use repeatedly. My previous one had wide levers which made repeated pulsing easy. It was also easier to attach the container. At least the blade has been improved compared to my previous FP;  it now can be thoroughly cleaned.
Summary: Prep 11Plus 11 Cup Food Processor by Cuisinart is way overpriced for what it delivers. Surprisingly, quality is not synonymous with the name, "Cuisinart" any longer.

My second Cuisinart food processor - Disappointing

I have been a Cuisinart customer for many years. Coffee makers, food processors, etc. Never have I come across a product with such poor design. It does the food processiong part just fine with good results. The problem is attaching and removing the work bowl. Very, very difficult. You either have to pound it wth the heel of your hand or use a rubber mallet. I'm not exagerating. This is true. I've seen other revioews of this model with the same complaints. Is anyone awake at Cuisinart? Returned the next day.
