Works great, makes wonderful Belgium Waffles that taste great.
Easy to clean and easy to use.   The non-stick surface is great; the cooked waffle just falls right out when its done cooking.  I like this product a lot.

Makes best waffles I ever had. There is no messy drips to clean up. I found out that the measuring cup is a bit to much batter for some recipes. I would try 3/4 cup to start, otherwise you will have a mess to clean up.

This waffler does what it says it will do, however we tested it 3-4 times and found that the #5 setting makes the best waffles and also, after it does the 5 beeps showing it is done and ready for you to open it up, if you want a really great looking waffle,count to 10 or wait another 10 seconds before you open it and,WOW. Better that you get in a restaurant.  We like it lots.

The cook temperature is very accurate.  I set mine on three to start and it was cooked the way I wanted it done, so I did not have to make any changes.  I love the fact that I can pour the batter in from the top.  I'm still working on having a little less waste over the top.  My particular batter mix says it will make 3 waffles, but with this waffle iron it only actually makes two, so be aware.  I do notice these waffles are a little thicker than my last waffles iron which could be the reason for one less waffle.  Some more Pros:  Storage is easy since it is upright, Cord length is perfect for a kitchen island, lights and beep allow for consistently perfect waffles.

Best you can get

There are a few features that influenced my purchase, but I admit, I was a little skeptical at first, but after using it for the first time, I was not disappointed.  The audible tones that signify the various phases of the operation are a great feature, so no guess-work. Being able to load the maker from the top, with no spills or leaks, is also really handy (especially with the included measurement cup). The top loading feature and well designed support stand allows for it to be a great space saver.
Overall I'm very happy with this product.

A great purchase.

I bought this waffle maker as I wanted to see if I could reproduce my favorite waffles which happen to be at from First Watch. I have tried multiple recipes -with and without malt -and I've also tried buttermilk recipes. All the waffles have been excellent, although not the exact taste I was looking for. Many of the recipes were preferred over the first watch waffles by my family. This waffle maker produces uniform results that are golden or golden brown, depending on your desire. Cleanup is fairly easy, although I prefer to use a measuring cup with a spout rather than the included 2/3 cup scoop so that I can pour the batter in more neatly. The waffles are cooked pretty quickly at about two minutes. Highly recommend for a family.

Cuisinart Vertical Waffle Maker Review

The pouring cup provided is the wrong shape. There needs to be an actual pouring spout on it. The current shape allows batter to flow over the front and back sides of the machine with very little going toward the actual entry spout reguardless of whether the cup is held long side or short side toward the spout.

Waffles are great.  I'm on my third appliance.  Luckily the door latch broke on two occasions before the warranty expired and it cost me only $10 to get a replacement.  That's why I still have one.  The company needs to re-design the door latch.  Obviously this is not a problem with horizontal waffle makers.  When the latch gives out batter spews everywhere and it's a mess to clean up.
