I replaced an older 2 stage filter with this one. The flow rate is great, much higher than the older one. Filter replacement is much easier and was a very to replace.

That being said after running for a while and the filter settles in it is great for filling our 5 gallon water cooler bottles and that saves 7.99 each time. that means it pay's for itself in 10 fillings. Well worth the money

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Installation instructions were simple enough but inserting the white hose into filter required a very large force to push the hose in the housing. I got it done, though. The water seemed well filtered enough but the flow rate is terrible. The paperwork indicated a flow rate of 1.5 gallons per minute. Even though my home water pressure is 50 psi, a decently good pressure, I got only 1 quart of water in a minute. That is 1/6th the flow rate promised. My previous under sink filter delivered about 2 gallons per minute. I would not recommend the Culligan US-DC3 because of the low flow rate. I'm going to replace it with a different brand.
