It's perfectly fit to the vehicle, Curt also attached a piece of paper in the shipment to indicate the model of the car.

Good Product, Good Price.

The hitch is perfect, but no surprise there as this is my second Curt hitch. I had one on my last truck and it stood the test of time. After reading the instructions, I decided against trying to install it myself. Instead, I had a friend who'd installed hitches in the past, do it for me. He was able to do it with little issue - I only had to help hold up the hitch while he screwed in the 4 bolts. He did have to drop the rear exhaust in order to install it on my 2014 RAV 4, so expect to do that if you have the same truck. Turns out, it's not a big deal if you know how to do it (if you don't, you can do an Internet search for a video showing you how). Now, I would feel comfortable installing the hitch myself, provided I had someone or something to hold it in place while I screwed in the bolts. The only issue, and why I am giving 4 stars, is the shipping/packaging. As mentioned in other online reviews, the box had ripped and part of the hitch was actually hanging out. It wasn't damaged, thanks to a thoughtful delivery guy, but I could see how it could have been if the delivery guy had been careless. In any case, I'm absolutely happy with the product and recommend it highly!

Perfect Hitch for my RAV 4

The box was received damage and upon inspection of the hitch in attempting to install it it was determined that it was slightly bent I was able to  make some adjustments and after some effort get it installed and it works great .

Box damaged

The product looks fine,but they send me the wrong size pin.The person had one job.

Product seems fine

The holes do not line up correctly with the frame. Rear holes were out of line by 4mm with forward holes. I had to grind the rear holes out further to get the bolts to go in straight. Other than that , it is solid. This was on a 2011 RAV4 limited.

Not a perfect fit

Holes didn't line up had to smack it with a sledge hammer to open it wide enough to bolt up.  Once I did it was fine. Jig is off or welding shrinks it.  Final product should be compared with what dimensions are required. Either that or my Rav4 frame rails were misaligned. That I doubt since Toyota's build quality is pretty high. Brand new Rav4 so?
