Construction

Ease Of Installation

this hitch is easy to install . It wont handle a lot of tongue weight,but, it will work for a boat trailer or utility trailer to pull behind your travel trailer. I used it for my 14 ft. aluminum fishing boat, and my travel trailer pulled much more smoothly. Just by adding that little bit of drag behind the trailer, stopped it from swaying back and forth. Kind of like adding a longer tail to a kite! works great for my application , and i have already recommended it to several friends. just dont put yourself in a situation where backing up is necessary. you will have to unhook the last trailer and get turned around, then rehook trailer. still no big deal. LOVE IT!!!

travel trailer bumper hitch

Attachment was fast and simple. However, I would caution not to attach it in the center of a square tube travel trailer bumper. The 160# generator twisted the bumper. Certainly not the fault of the hitch.

Great portable hitch

At first I purchased one of those Chinese Hitch Receivers for my Cargo Carrier. It was a piece of Junk!! The pin hole was under size, the hitch pin didn't fit. The bolts were Low Quality, afraid they may break, with some weight on them. I returned it & got my money back.
The Curt is a "Real Hitch!!" . Heavy Duty, Quality Weld Construction,Smart Mounting with 2 High Grade Quality Bolts. 
Spend the extra $20.00 & Buy a Real Hitch. I've been using mine for several months & very happy,stable & no problems.
Why would you want to be on the road with a broken cheap hitch???

This receiver bolts on in minutes and stays secure. Use it in the middle of your rear bumper or use it to either side of the middle to add another storage tray. With just 2 bolts, you can move it around quickly and easily.
