[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a 2020 Dodge Grand Caravan and tho it will tow 3500%23 it's not conducive for a trailer brake install. This was recommended. It was easy to use, tho it kept saying lost Bluetooth, it will still work at the last setting that you installed. Going from a 4 pin towing harness to a 7 pin towing harness was a snap. I can now tow my flatbed trailer, boat, and my larger camper that needs brakes. Set up was super easy. I chose to use a zip tow in addition to the Velcro strap they provided so as not to loose it when using. I also like the feature that you just take it out and put it inside your vehicle when not using. The install would be super easy for a do it yourself type car guy. I can no longer get on the ground for these kind of jobs so I took it in and it cost me $230 for the install. If you are in the situation where you cannot install  trailer brake with controller inside on your dashboard, this is a good alternative.

We installed a full trailer brake system on a customer's vehicle and installed this wireless trailer brake controller. It was super easy to install and operate. We will never install another system without it! I highly recommend it if you are using trailer brakes.

Awesome product!

Once you fine-tune it to your vehicle/trailer then it works wonderfully.  I am towing a 21.5 foot travel trailer with a Hyundai palisade and needed a way for the the TT's break to engage.  This was the answer.  Didn't need to rewire my SUV, or add a complicated break controller.  This took care of it.

so easy to use but you need a smart phone. no wireiing just plug in.

very easy to use is wireless  no instalation required and is better price that others stores dedicated to RV trailers braking devices .

This is a cheap imitation knock off of a curt controller. I had to go to an RV dealership and find out why it wouldn't work. It's not a real curt brake controller.

Do not purchase. It's not real.

Locks up brakes at low speeds regardless of adjustments or pairing procedure. The unit must be set to not brake at all in those scenarios or it will endanger you and others near you. Very disappointed.

Dangerous brake controller

Ordered product, came in opened plastic package (broken seal above adapter).   Product didn't look like that shown on seller's web site, different from manufacturer.   Took photos.   Concerned it was returned product from another customer, possibly exchanged or faulty... couldn't confirm if working (get my RV in 2weeks).   Emailed 3rd party HITCHWEB w details/photos.   Made me certify unused and charged me 10% restocking/processing fee (reduced from 20% unless I buy something else from them)... won't give FULL REFUND.   I didn't get NEW PRODUCT, UNSURE IF CORRECT %26 FUNCTIONAL PRODUCT.   Other retailers (Best Buy) reduce prices for opened items.   I should receive FULL REFUND.   Walmart says to follow-up with 3rd party HITCHWEB, failing that, follow-up with HITCHWEB.   How is that customer focused and supportive of selling 3rd party products?!  I initiated concerns, contact and return WITHIN the 30 DAY RETURN WINDOW.  Not a happy customer.   Stuck w $69.66 charge.
