Curt Manufacturing Class III Loaded Ball Mount

The product is fine but was drop shipped from Curt in Acworth, GA. Based on my experiences, Curt Manufacturing has zero pride in the condition of their products when they are delivered to the customer. Why take the time to powder coat your products and then ship them in shoddy, substandard packing which invites damage during shipment? The only answer I can think of is a lack of pride. I wrote Curt directly, a week ago, on this subject and have heard nothing from them. I know hitch products are subjected to abuse during use. But, so are tires and no one will pay for new tires that arrive in in "used" condition! I had to order FIVE of these mounts in order to get one that was marginally acceptable appearance-wise. Curt has a lot to learn about the packing and shipping of their products so that the products arrive in good condition and without scrapes, dings, gouges and other flaws.
