I bought the Curt 1 1/4" hitch extender to use with my Curt 1 1/4" hitch. The extender fit perfectly and allows me to fold up my platform bike rack when not in use. Without the extender, the rack could not clear my bumper in order to fold up properly. The extender is just the right length for my purpose and appears to be very well casted for years of reliable use--made in America. Walmart easily had the best advertised price too.
