I'm using it to raise a cargo carrier on my SUV.  This product should have suggested when I bought the cargo carrier - when you load the carrier and the inside of the SUV, the rear of the vehicle naturally is lowered making the carrier scrape on dips and driveways.  This product cures the problem.

I'm using it as a drop down so I can lower my tailgate without bumping the rails. Is a good solid unit.

It really works.

My fault, but I didn't realize that Walmart is moving into Amazon territory with pushing items from other vendors, where I assumed I am buying from Walmart.  

Anyway, the product description did not mention much in the way of dimensions at my time of purchase (rather critical for this type of purchase), but I figured I would take a chance on it with the assumption that I could just return to a local Walmart if the hitch wasn't long enough.  

Of course, the hitch did NOT work for my vehicle, and when I went to return it I learned  that I did not purchase from Walmart, but from another vendor.  With the 25% restocking fee I was also unaware of, shipping costs to send a heavy item, and less shipping costs on the refund, I'm pretty much stuck with it.

Just a reminder to start reading the fine print, and make sure you are truly ordering from Walmart when completing your purchase.
